It was pretty hard. When I had it if you span the wheel and put your finger on it would easily cut through the skin.

*lol* ahhhh my old rim (Y) good to know it is still alive somewhere. Breaking was amazing to say the least but yes it went through pads. I got through the Maguras blacks riding back from the local bikeshop with my then new Echo (about 1 mile and I didn't even do any trials), then a complete set of 4 of Plaz pads in about 4 hours riding. So my advice would be to get a medium coating done if it is still available.

http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk/ - some interesting reading. If it was a standard grey/yellow gatso camera you will NOT get done for setting it off going toward it. I believe you have to be informed within 14 days anyway, so as soon as this has passed don't worry about it. Regards Deano
