I have made it my mission to prevent people from buying profile. Not only are their products faulty but their customer service is total crap. I broke my hub and they said they would warrenty it so i sent it back told them 1000 times to send it express mail shipping as i am in an extreme hurry, they agreed to send it express mail, I paid and was billed for express mail, and they send it by ground mail and did not inform me after asking them for a week did you send it express mail?. I have lost an entire summer riding because of their service, they are the worst company ever. If you need a 10ml cassette I recommend doing the following...
Did you deal with profile in the Uk?
I used to run a profile hub, it gave up on me after about 5 years of use, the thread that holds the ratchet inside the hub stripped, within a week I had a new hub body on my doorstep. They were a great company and I had one of the best services from any company I have ever had to deal with.
I dont know if its just me being into trials a while ago but litterly everyone ran a profile hub, they never slipped once, mine certainly never did and I was riding really hard on it pretty much everyday. Where has this whole profile hubs are rubbish come from?
Making it 'your mission' to stop people buying what they want is a bit over the top dont you think?

hey, deffiently go for the profile or echo cassete hubs, the are really worth it in the long run. Ive just upgraded from my eno on the front to a profile, just gives you so much more confidence and you atleast know its not going to blow up on you on a big gap

Hey, do you ride mod or stock? If its mod you mostly have to buy aftermarket boosters, like the viz, onza, echo etc ones! Also with mods as far as i know they all use 4 bolt mounts, and if you running quick release i assume your running the evo clamps for the brakes, if you are it best to swap to the four bolt clamps, most of the trials shops on the net stock them, once youve got a set of those on fittings a breeze, hope it helps!

There ok, you just have to look after them, they work well if you locktite them, not sure if its true but alot of people say they last longer on the back as there under less stress??? cant go wrong with eno's though! :P

Hey, is it possible to fit a 18t fixed sprocket and bash onto a set of onza musclemens? As im changing from an eno to a profile, any help would be great, thanks Phill

i find trials is cheaper then most other cycling sports, though i depends on how much you ride and what stuff your riding, iv just got my freeride bike insured, its valued at 4.5k, components are getting really expensive and getting anywhere decent to ride like morzine or whistler costs loads

you can ether buy a star nut from your local bike shop or to save alot of hassle you could buy a headlock, its basically a bolt which replaces the top cap bolt in your stem, the other end of it fits into the steerer tube just above where the front wheel sits, saves alot of hassle with stupid fiddly starnuts!

i run the chain quite slack, i dont run a link pin, yea the last one i got a bike shop to put on when the rebuilt my rear wheel, the rear sprocket is about a year old with some wear on it and my eno is still as fresh as ever, will this make a difference??
-
fair play, bet that would be hard to fit in most mods, i have enough trouble with 2.6's on my santa cruz!
-
cheers, thanks for the advise

which size 20" or 26"? i dont think they do it in 20", 20"x2.5 is the only size

hey, i ride a mod, i keep snapping chains. I run Kmc kools, the nice wide burly ones, is there a stronger chain? or how long are these supposed to last on a trials bike. The last one lasted about 3 months, seriously damn hurt when that went! i dont undo and redo the chain, they are only joined once and thats when its bought. and ideas?????
