It's not a HS24, but a HS22!
The HS22 was available with a 16mm or 14mm master piston. In 1998 it was replaced with the HS33.
or it could be that the lever blade on the old skool levers were longer giving them more leverage. more leverage = more power. (like kurt brain welding 2 leverblades together to extend it)The lever blades are indeed longer, but the ratio is also smaller (or bigger? I'm confused )
The old style levers are definitely not more powerful than a HS33, but you can put an old lever blade in a HS33 and gain more power.

The HS24 got a bigger master piston than a HS33, this means it got less power.
Don't get it!

What about grinding the rim? Can it be done without filling in new latex?

Really liked that, too bad you couldn't get more footage of Hermance & Caisso & Giacomo, but at a guess the deutsche guy riding the XTP was a friend of yours so you'd wanna get the most footage of him! Some of those moves were huge, just bouncing over tricky terrain like it's concrete!
Makes me wanna go and ride some natural and realise :D how much I suck at it and (:P just how skilled those riders were!
I didn't film it, because I was riding. I just exchanged some tapes with a guy who filmed there.
I'd like to see more 26" footage, as well.

Cool video, maybe abit of music next time aswell.
Also hasve you ever tried a longer bike, you look like you would suite one ?
Yeah, maybe next time!
I rode a RAVen 4.0 before and I'll get another BT when the new frames are released.
I feel more comfortable on a long bike, but a short, agile bike is nice, too.

I don't know if they're available in the UK yet, but you can definitely get them directly from Michel Coustellier.
Two of them cost 20 Euro (14£)

The Try All hub is extremely overpriced.
If you want a fixed hub, I'd suggest something cheaper and lighter, like Viz or BT.

Don't get a brake with this parallel push stuff!
There are more moving parts than necesarry and it's prone for wobbling.

As long as it's dry they're very good pads.
I think, they work best on a pretty worn grind.
I used a set of Spanish Flies for six months and they still had some rubber left.

My Ali Bongo's bb height is +30mm with Echo Pure forks and as Matt said, it feels really amazing.

They're now using white backings instead of the black ones.

That vid was amazing! :-
Benito can jump quite high.

I snapped many chains, but never at the connector.
