What's the general concensus to do if say for example i do see the bike?
I'd probably start a conversation asking him about trials.. if he was clueless, or offered to sell it to me - take is phone num and say i'll get money and buy it?
-
o im sorry do i have a better bike than you:O o dear god me!! fine if u are soo good that you dont belive it then fine! i think the words are JOG ON! i dont own a trials bike, i dont own a DH bike, i dont own an XC bike, just my fit bike and my kona scrap ok? i spend all my money on my 2 bikes, cus i have nothing else to spend it on! so why dont you just piss off!
I'm a BMX rider (ex trials rider) myself so know what I'm talking about.
you say "but fit bike co. and wethepeople are some of the standout names" stand out to someone who has obvously flicked through a few catalogues, not a bmx rider.
The setup is wierd too. DJ profile cranks on a lightweight bike?
Someone who spends £160 on a headset could afford a better rim and tyre setup.
...i've spent too much time on you already.

Nissan 200SX, ~200bhp and rear wheel drive.
My next car and i'm totally serious about that. (Drive a Xsara VTR at the moment)

I love electronic and trance music, it has some strange effects on my body that no other genre does.
For instance, "Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient works 2" - it is ambient music so not overpowering and some of the tracks are nothing short of beautiful. Whenever I go to sleep and leave the music playing quietly I have some amazing dreams.

I aint no bmxer, but when I had my bike thats what I ran....it was ok, still too hard for my liking though, I couldnt do rollback for shit. I guess I am too used to my nice easy trials gear which is mint for controling rollbacks.
Also, why when I spent hundreds on brake parts to make sure they were decent they were crap?
I had hulahoop chrome rims
evolver brakes front and rear
slic cables (tried nokon at one point!)
tech 77 levers
and plazmatic spanish fly pads
It was still utter crap, I could barley skid! And yes my rims and pads were clean, I used muck off, a clean rag, even wore latex gloves to not get any fingerprints on the rims for gods sake!!
thats probably the main reason why I quit bmx, I have no confidence if my brakes are crap.
That doesnt sound right. I'm using an Evolver with Kool stop pads on an araya chrome rim.
Using 1 finger for braking, my break never slips!
Maybe you were trying things with your bodyweight in the wrong place, i dunno.

cool, hopefully i'll see you... though i will be on my BMX (my spare one at that, till i find out the dodgey areas / meet people to ride with :-" )

Yo you northern monkeys
As i'm moving up to Leeds on Saturday and will have nothing to do apart from drinking on the Sunday - anyone wanna come out for a ride?
As i'm a newbie (ridden leeds a few times in the past but not for a while) I need to know where all the good sports are :)
Catch you up
Boon.x
you going uni there? i am, moving in on sat staying in henry price building.

Got in AS
A, B, C , D
but i am retaking the D, and getting a remark on the C.
I know remarking is abit pointless, but i was one mark off a B, so i want to try and get just that one mark as then i will get the B, but if i lose marks it doesnt really matter..thought give it a try anyways.
jenn<3
your A level average is on points though, not grades. So if you carry on the subject it really doesnt matter if it's a B or a C as the points will be so simiar anway.

Yay, Going to Leeds uni!

Try Norwich union for insurance
I'm 18 and insure a Xsara VTR (1.6i) for £850
To insure my old 106 would have been £600 this year! (1 years no claims)

down by the sea front looked pretty cool last time i went there, saw a group of trials riders there too!

Passed test on 21st dec 04. wrote off van into a lamppost on the 27th.....
I left the scene. as i was walking home a copper stopped and asked me if i had crashed an i said no. went home they found my van traced me and i got f**ked.
just got back form court this morning.
got 9 points £40 fine and a 55day ban. for driving without due care and attention, leaving the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident.
Also a while back i got pulled for driving whilst using a mobile phone. £30 fine.
Been pulled about 5 times just for being a young lad in a van with alloys on it.
edit: not bad to say iv only just realized its friday 13th.
So you did all that in 6 days?
Or carried on driving after crashing?
Will you have to retake your test? (6 point grace period and all?)

Agreed about it being pretty obvious you have no idea what you're on about.
Sub contract the job, 70/30% split me and you, and the site will be fantastic.

Get a BMX! Don't bother going half way.
-
wtf to be honest.
New bike looks great :S Are raised BB's generally accepted as the way forward now then?

Most of these political correctness 'rules' are thought up by middle class white people who just pity people who are different in whatever way. Absolutely rediculous.
