  1. Great vid! Good choice of music too, fitted really well.

My wrist is nearly healed now so will be riding soon hopefully

  2. Howdy all. just a few quick questions about the programme mentioned above.

I aint use it for a few years, and i need to quickly find out how to achieve a few things.

Firstly. How do you make an object transparent?

And secondly how do you make a sharp object, such as a cube have rounded edges?

If nobody has a clue, then no worries i'll delete this topic asap, but any info would be lush!  (Y)

to make an object transparent, just disable it. to make it semi transparant apply a material that is semi transparent.

to round the edges you need to apply a deform modifyer such as mesh smoother with 1 iteration, but you're original mesh needs to have been sub-divided meaning instead of a square being 6 faces, each of those faces is split up into say, 4 faces.

  3. ive been known to play a bit of this for play money only.

A close mate of mine is currently funding himself through this year of uni by playing online poker.  He gets a steady £500 a month, spending about 2-3 hours a day on it (treats it like a regular job) usually at night when all the (in his words) stupid yanks are online ready to give him their money.  I think his record is £1000 in a month, when he won three or four tournaments

Just had a quick look on pokerroom.com and much prefer party to be honest, room doesnt show you your balance which makes judging betting a bit hard

    that sounds pretty cool!

best i have done is made £37 playing online blackjack, lol

  4. Of course, you could easily harvest IPs from any forum. Just like I'm doing with this topic :-

    nothing.gif

how could you do that though?

the only way i could think of was if you hosted an image or something on a server of your own.

and even then you couldn't match a user to an address, unless by seeing who is viewing topic and i'm not sure if you could do it that way.

    edit/ oh yeah, times posted.

  5. a van is generally more to insure, as the cost of any goods (machinary, materials etc) which may be being transported are likely to be coverd too, as is the fact that theives may break into a van to see whats inside.

for about £1500 i recommend a peugeot 306. quite large, yet still a low insurance group. best engine is the 1.9diesel turbo option.
