Ive just found a load of awesome quicktime vid's on ridebmx
Thought you might like them. The Sergio mini ramp sesh is unbelievable, awesome riding :'( the ''Layton massacre'' one is good too, Mike Aitken going off with some huge style in that one.
Hope you like,
Tom

it doesnt bang,,, iv locked it out.. so it really cant move!
did u notice is moving in the vid.... hm maybe it came loose..
it never makes a noise!
best mech ever.. drilled it EVERYWHERE,, i found it in a skip :)"
Ah right, my bad! I could just here something tapping against what sounded like your frame, it might just have been your chain or something.
Great riding though, well done <_<

Haha!!! Loved that.
I downloaded it late last night and have since watched it about 10 times, I love it! Dead relaxed and really easy to watch, but really technical fluid riding too  Best video I've seen in a long time.
One thing though, - does your mech banging against your chainstay not annoy you? Ive noticed a few riders that ride with the mech hitting the frame on drops, gaps etc... (Akrigg, Ali C, Hawyes...) They're all really smooth riders, but then there's the mech making clinking noises in the background, I suppose its just personal preference but it would really annoy me!
Again, brilliant vidyooo,
Thanks,
Tom

I like it  It looks dead neat and tidy, I really like the photos dotted around the place too, are they shots you've taken yourself?
Looks like you have a fair amount to ride around your way too, lucky buggers!
Well done, keep up the good work,
Tom

ha ha, I was hoping someone would have got the fall on film, I wanna know what it looked like.
I didnt ride the rest of the day because I trashed my rim when I landed on it, BIG thanks to Dave and Adam for getting me up and running for the next day.
I rode all the other demos apart from the last one on sunday when it was too painful to ride.
It still hurts a little now, like coughing or sneezing and sleeping on my left, the doctor said I have bruised ribs.
Eeeeep!!! :P It really did look painfull from where I was stood (Just behind where all the riders were waiting for there runs)
Was it your hub that skipped or something? Sorry, I did'nt manage to get it filmed, it was one of the worst looking bails Ive ever seen I have to say though made me cringe big style. Huge respect for getting up and walking away from it.
Anyway, hope it heals soon, back to the topic... :-"

its good i like it its really good in the rain so i am happy! every one that has riden it has liked it!
Is there any chance you could post a picture of your disc set-up? I can remember another post you made saying how you brazed it on or something because it kept coming loose.
Just being nosey really, wouldn't mind seeing how it's working.
Great photos by the way, you look pretty damn good.
Thanks, Tom

This competition is really cool, I just can't stop wondering what sort of stuff would Ryan Leech come up with on a curb :P" Maybe someone should give him a call :-
Thats an idea and a half, infact, consider him emailed :P
I'll let you know if he replies with anything.

Pretty classy pictures, cheers :- I had the same problem with light levels with both my cameras, not daring to use the flash incase I put off the riders did'nt help either :P
Without sound like too much of a bail monger, did anyone get Ali C's bail from the top of that trailer on the friday? It was immensly harsh, or looked that way, and I have'nt heard anyone mention it.
By the way Ali, is your back allright from that? I didn't see you around after, just your frame with no wheel in it.
Thanks,
Tom

That is absolutely rad :P :- Congrats, I'd be extremely chuffed with myself If I had built anything that floats, never mind with a bike attached.
The only thing I'd change though, as someone said earlier, is to get a chain tensioner or something put on that big one that goes straight from the front chainring. I wouldn't like the idea of being in the middle of lake mindemere and the chain falling off to be honest.
Gotta love the pose from Ali by the way :P
Awesome stuff,
Tom

When I got into riding trails I got a luminous yellow Saracen X-cell from JJB in Lincoln  needless to say, when I started trying to go to bash on the chain guide and 42 tooth ring, it did'nt last too long. I don't have any photie's of that anymore, but the next steed I had was a Metallic black DMR sidekick- the sex
This was just after I got it
This was just before I got the Koxx sx66, just looking at it makes me cringe, I really really want it back but some shit nicked it from the guy I sold it too :)
Then after I had that I went onto the long, low silver brigade, got bored of that, and now my bike looks like this;
Enjoy, Tom

I know, I have an account, I just need to figure out how to upload vids, I have'nt tryed it yet you see. Anyhow, going back to the topic...

Great Idea, Im definetely game once Ive figured out how to upload vidyoos :S . Sounds like the tripods coming out tonight...
One question though, does it have to be one area of curb like in the Glasseye vid, or can it be any curb anywhere, with different areas all together kinda thing (The vids that people have posted more than likely answer that, but I have'nt got time to download them)
Tom

That was by far the best video Ive seen in a long time, the editing was immense to say the least. Really nice style you've got, would be awesome to ride with you one time.
Again, top notch video (Y)
Thanks, Tom

I have to say, the response this thread has been immense, I can't believe how many people want to ride this comp... >_< I thought you guys loved competitions?
Well just incase, its tomorrow, kicks off at 12, should be radical if the weathers good.
Cheers, Tom

I really like it, Ive never heard of him before but his stuff's really interesting.
Im kinda into photography myself, so I know that when you look at something and think 'ooh, that would make a good photo' its not too hard, you can either do it or you can't. But to look at something, and think 'ooh, if I merged this shot with another frame that I took a week or so back, that would look rad' that must be really hard, I can imagine it takes a real natural talent to do something like that.
So yes, I would definetely call it photography, infact it must be a damn sight harder than some of the more 'traditional' styles of photography too.
Thanks for the link, t'will keep me interested for a while.

I was just wondering if anyone off here was off to the trial at Ashbyville just outside scunthorpe this Sunday?
Its the first round of a few, five I think, throughout the summer, last years were a really good laugh. Entry was a fiver last year, so im guessing thats not changed. If you know where the Morrisons is just outside scunthorpe (off the roundabout) then its right behind there on an old airstrip type of place.
Even if you don't want to enter the comp (I dont think I am) theres still enough rocks and concrete slabs to keep any rider occupied for days, so Im off for a little sesh.
Let me know if you can make it, and I'l see you there.

I dont smoke, I dont take drugs, never will (mainly because I can't afford them) and when I go out I tend to sink the odd brewsky but I never get wasted (I.E at gigs i'll sit and chill with a pint or two and watch others get extremely loose :) best way in my opinion)
I'd say the only reason that Im in the shape im in now (not too bad shape if I dont say so myself) is because of riding far too much than can possibly be healthy. It has to be really, my diet really isnt too good at all, I just eat whats in front of me really -
saying that, quite often there are healthy things in front of me so that helps. I consume silly quantities of bananas, grapes, tea and water though, that could also contribute.
The one thing I definetely don't want to end up doing is paying to get into Gyms. I just don't see the appeal of sitting on a motionless bike or running on a conveyor belt and getting sweaty, when you could be running round the park or even better getting lost in the countryside on a bike somewhere, which surely keeps you in better health because of the fresh air, and is free?
One thing I really need to start getting more of is sleep. I tend to get around 7 hours sleep a night, which Ive kind of adapted to now, but I can tell that my endurance suffers when I go on big rides, I just die after a few hours - On that note, I bid you good night.

You know your rich when you and your tard friends all wear v-neck jumpers with hard collar shirt underneath, flare jeans with ripped bottoms and dunlops.
Oh and your rich girlfriends all dress like complete slappers and love black men.
Haha, agreed. God damn trendies, made me chuckle that did.

Im looking for the song 'Video killed the radio star' by I think 'The buggles' :P
Ive searched it on Imesh and it comes up with a load of results, but most are either covers by ska bands or just plain won't download. If anyone has the original could they possibly send it me over msn please?
My addy is trialsboi25@hotmail.com, thanks a bunch,

I know plenty of people have been asking allready, but any chance of seeing this new drop technique soonish? (Y)"
Ive been racking my brain trying to guess what it is for the past fortnight or so.
As I said before though, absolutely gorgeous ride, lucky barstool you.

:o
He even manual dropped it If Im not mistaken, think what would have happened if the front end dropped :)

Ive just finished building it back up again after a re-spray. Before people start shouting at me, Im not riding it until at least tomorrow night to allow the paint and laquer to harden fully, and its being kept in the utility next to the boiler.
Like I said before, I doubt many people will like the new colour, but I love it (Y)
About the seat, unfortunately thats the only angle I can really run it at without it rubbing on the tire thanks to my hacksaw-happy antics with the seat tube a couple of months back (N) So until I get a new frame, or another method of bodging the seat tube in place its going to have to stay like that, I don't think the fact that its a long ass seat in the first place will make it look any better, but ah well.
Sorry the pictures aren't too great, the light was fading outside so they've gone slightly blury.
Hope you like,
Tom
