  1. Ye i live in bingley near bradford and leeds. We need to get a ride going sometime in the summer or now if u want. Should be able to get some people out and about. Bradford is a good place to ride and it would mean that we i could get sad acts like wayne and bucky out then without complaining. lol

  2. Ye I would say that a longer frame would suit your height much better. Also try bikes with a higher stem that could help much more becuase it will stop you from arching your back (stopping back pains). A long bike will also make your riding much better so I would say that a longer bike would help alot with your riding so it would be a good change.

  3. Ye an armourdillo will fit on a monty. i know 2 people who run theirs with them on. You could also look at chain stay protection. I find the best thing to use, and so do alot of other people is hose piping. all you have to do is cut it to the right size then just zip tie it on.

  4. I've got a perfectly working rear M4 I might be interested in selling... (I'm not sure, but the KOT MS2 I want can't accomodate it?)

Ye but you cant switch hope leavers around so it wouldn't work unless you used a front leaver.

  5. Just make sure that when you tap that you lean forwads so that you dont fall back off and, it will stop your backwheel from hitting the object befor you have got up it. When your next out have a look at some one who can tap and look at how they do it for a good 5 mins, that way you will get the idea. Also dont be scared of hitting the wall hard and fast.

  6. plazmatics or koxx browns :D but id recomend koxx browns for this weather.

koxx browns are gud but they dont work that well in the wet without a grind. I found that zoo pads worked well without a grind because they are so soft.

  7. It sounds to me as if you havent learnt to tap yet? What you need to to is find a wall which is the same size as the pallets if not a bit bigger. All you have to do is do exactly the same as if you were going to back wheel it, but keep your front end down and tap the corner of the wall with your front wheel as you go up. Dont worry it will take time so be patent.

As for side hope i find the best way is to get balanced next to the wall then when your are, get onto your back wheel and strait away go up to a side hop. Try to mover forward when you do and go to your front wheel, that way your front break will pull u up much like and endo. That way you carry the momentum into the side hope. Make sure that you tuck your body into your bike. This way you will get much higher faster.

    hope this helps :P

  8. ur best off speaking to waynio, he ran one on his ashton for a while, either email him or airevalley, should be able to tell u from expereince

he is using a mono trial now though, if that gives u a hint at what to get

The one waynio had is the one i ran for 9 months, and i loved every minute of it.

So much stopping power its unbelievable but you can also get great modulation from the brake.

I have used maguras, vee's mini and C2 before and the 6 pot takes all the best qualitys from each brake and none of the bad ones, plus its hope, so anything goes wrong and a couple of 1st class stamps and its all sorted for you :P i would consider this brake other than anything else.

    Here's a quick pic. of me with my 6 pot :'( DSC00025.jpg

  9. sounds really good so far.

For wheels through personal experience of profile king hope and more i would have to go for the hope front and rear hubs every single time. purly due to the simplicity and quality of the hub and the excellent quality of the service from Hope technologies. Build the hubs onto either Echo, Koxx, Dx32 or onza for the rear. For the front i would use again koxx echo onza or mavic.

For the single speed tensioner Fresh products would be ideal as they are very robust and easily adjustable. Also they can be taken off easily for when you need to remove your wheel.

    hope this helps :P
