  1. Yeh I know, I'm not really pushing the weight on squats yet really and by the time I'm pushing the weight I think I'll have invested in one lol.

    And I'm all about ass the to floor on squats so I don't need bars to tell me I'm going low enough B)

  2. Need to add a deadlift in there deffinetly. My squat rack, is so make shift its scary, infact it's an exercise bike and a set of ladders lmao. I have to go so low to get the bar onto my shoulder, just getting the bar up is by far the hardest part and I dont even count it as a rep.

    Oh and Muelio do the situps weighted, even if it means less reps.

  3. Yeh there isn't much you can do with just one weight lol, apart from curls.

    I'm following the rippetoes now, except squats replaced with lunges :(

    It's as follows- 3 days a week, with workout A and workout B, which are done alternating.

    Workout A

    3x5 lunges

    3x5 Bench Press

    3x5 Deadlift

    5x10 press up

    2x25 sit ups

    2x25 dips

    4x5 pull ups

    Workout B

    3x5 lunges

    3x5 Standing military press

    3x5 Pendlay Rows

    5x10 press up

    2x25 sit ups

    2x25 dips

    4x5 pull ups

  4. Ok, thanks for that. The reason for the 1 set on the dead lift is because the Rippetoe workout has it as 1x5, thats the only reason but I will change it to 3x5 like the others.

    So I'll put lunges in as well, which does make the list look pretty long lol.

  5. Bit of a bump, So i got a decnt amount of weights for christmas, I think about 75kg, which is a decent enough amount to start off with.

    My starting stats are:

    Bench:60kg

    Deadlift:75+kg, Need more weight.

    Squat: cant do them.

    I weigh 59-60kg so My bench is ok I reckon but I know squats are probaly the most important of the three and Because I don't have a squat rack I'm only able to small weight and lots of reps, cos I dont fancy trying to shift 50+ kg over my head, so is there any other alternative to squats?

    My workout is as follows, pick apart as you like:

    Workout :

    Bench 3x5

    Pendlay Row 3x5

    Overhead press 3x5

    Deadlift 1x5

    Press ups 10x5

    weighted sit ups 25x2

    Pull up 2x5

    Chin ip 2x5.

    Id like to follow the rippetoe workout exactly, but with out the squat I don't see the point, So do you reckon that my work out with be sufficient?

    Weights, finally I can do proper workouts

    Motorbike trousers

    dvds and Cd's- One of which was Back door slam, there a local band look them up on youtube, the lead singer has been compared to Hendirx and clapton by the Rolling stone mag.

    Money

    Duffel Coat, cos there f**king cool.

    and quite a few other clothes and stuff.
