Just thought i would let people know and also ask who will be going?
first competition of the year at addingham hopefully will be as good as the Fun trial we had at the new quarry in oakworth we used last month.
There will be a food van there this time
so there will be hot chocolate/tea/coffee and also a few butties the be had too. that was the main concern from the last event that most spectators just said they could have done with a buttie van.Waynio.........................

hi there just out of interest, is there any other type of hyraulic rim brakes apart from magura.

Hey evryone, me and a mate had the thought of grinding a diskbrake, but were not sure if it would work.
Would the power / lock increase?
Would modulation be affected?
Would it even work?
We thought as disk brake pads are a much harder compound to rim brakes, perhaps it wouldnt have the same effect, and as the pads are so close to the disk, maybe they would drag and catch?
If anyone has tried this, or if you can see any more pros / cons, please comment.

My mates GU mod has been stolen, it was stolen from his back yard at 8:30pm today.

brakes: front and rear hs33 05 (also has a RB booster on rear)
Bars: plain black flat bars (unknown brand)

wheels: rear profile laced to ronnie (black) silver rim tape on both
front t-pro rim on shimano disc hub (black)
tyres: creepy crawlers
stolen from the wibsey,bradford area
keep an eye out because my mate is devastated
what a bastards that is. i feel well bad fir james. all his money went in to that. i would drive round everywhere looking for that. remember sharples bike when that got robbed, that ended up in halifax or shipley. too many bikes are getting robbed now it is very gay and peopl know that they are worth a lot. p.s. i wish they took dicks insted.

i have just got my profile wheel build from tarty its perfect except the bolts on either side are tight i can get one of the bolts to come out but not the other please can some one tell me how to get them both lose
lmao, what a bugger that is. that happened to ma mates wheel. he kept at it for about 2 hours and he eventually got them loose together. i think you have to try tighten them to the same tighteness on each side''if u get me'' and then loose them both slowly together. hope i helped lol

I just broke my front Magure Louise...
So, as I now need a new front disk brake, I was just wondering which was the best-value-for-money? (Cheap-ish) I haven't really got much money at the moment so I will have to save up.Si (bambi_3) said I could get a Magure Julie for about £50. Where? I can't find one.

hi there if you want to by something in that price range i would get a avid. dont get put off them because they are cable because the are really strong brakes and alot of ausum riders use them.

Hi I am running a hope trials disc on the front, but i have come to a problem; when I sidehop and do certain other moves I seem to be afraid of landing on it as I have bent it too many times, so its stopping me going bigger and costing me more money.
So I was wondering what you think front maguras are like as i haven't run one for yoinks! and is it worth changing.

hello mate,
keep the disc brake they are good disc brakes,if you really want to stop hitting it, just say to your self, you are paranoid and you can do this.its all in the mind i am telling you,stop worrying and get comfident by doing a small sidehop. i have a hs33 for the front i am deffinantley going to purchase a front disc, and i sidehop tot he left aswell.
p.s. if you have a spare hs33 you could use that to grow your comfidence then swithch back to disc.

what are your highest drops? mine is 7.5ft but anything higher than that is scary
my highest drop was 7ft and i am not proud because it is not a hard move to pull off.lol.
i could do alot higher but i dont see the point . i only dropped off it to get everyone to shut up lol
any way i prefer to do gap downs ont to THIN walls

the new hope one is amazing and they are £130. well worth the buy. also my mate has a magura ouise and that is also impressive,your depends on how much you are willing to spend, i think you will be ok both ways,

My Uncle wants me to get into it, How much roughly would a Trials Moto Cost? im looking here at 125 to 175cc.
depends what you are after. my mate sold a cherco 250 for £1400 and it was in good condition and it was 3 years old. have a look on biketrador. go in to google and search biketrador and have a look. my favourite 2 are beta,montesa,cherco.hehe

I have recently put a crack in my t-pro around the headtube area.
After realizing that i did not have enough money to buy a new frame i have had my t-pro welded to hold it together. However i am now concerended about my warranty as i have only had the frame for not much longer than 6 months.
will that fact that i have had my frame welded affect the warranty on my t-pro?
I sent a e-mail to super cycles about my frame a while ago but have had no response.
Any help is appreiceated
yes it will onza are very strict with warrenty. my onza cracked and i had a competition coming up and i wanted to weld it , the only reason why i didnt is because if i did weld it i would not of been able to claim off the warenty.

Well to start off I'd just like to say hi.
Anyway, I'm starting trials, and after about a month of riding it on my street bike I'd like to get a proper trials bike. As it says in the title which would be better to start on?
Oh and I'm not that well off at the moment
so I'm leaning towards a mod...Thanks
u dont need to get a mod bike because u are beginner. my first bike was an onza t-raptor which i baught from here and i sont regret it the are easy to move around.hope i helped

proberly on ma old base ta26 i went in the position to bak wheel a soncreet bollard and my tyre landed at an angle and i slipped and fello on my chainstay and i had a huge dent on it, but who cares now i have a levellboss!

my highest is 33" which i done yesterday

well i didn't side hop because i only have just been introduced to the move, but after august when i started, i practised and practised and i got 36/37'' so i was happy with that.

I have 8/9 months worth of riding and i can only side hope bout 15"... I find it very awkward and hard to get the height combined with a sideways motion..for some wierd reason i end up going backwards aswell
if so get closer. not too close you will hit your pedal.you can get alot hire than that if you put you mind to it.trials is all in the head, i used to sidehop to the right and i am right foot and i was crap so i made my self switch side and i amd hitting 37'' fromm 21''. hope i helped buddy.
