Thanks guys,
The helmet issue seems to crop up time and again, I always think that it someone doesn't want to wear one it's up to them. But you'll all be glad to hear that Ben's know rocking a Protec.
Tommy - I'm surprised you've just come across our vids, but its good to hear that your stoked on them.
Thanks chap's, like I said before, Ben's already working on a couple of videos, both look good so far. Keep an eye out!!!

New video from us lot at 26twenty ( time for play ). This has been made for a while, I was going to release it with the new site that I'm working on but that is taking to long and Ben's already got two more videos in production - keep an eye open for them they are looking good so far.
Thanks to Danny and trials forum for hosting this + all of our other videos.
Take a look and see what you think comment's welcomed.
Thanks

Yawn boring..... Only kidding mate, riding as always was sick, not to sure about the track, but it was edited well to it.
Remember once you get your new rims bring them in to me and I'll build them ( 2 cross, with the wrong length spokes is never going to last is it now ), lets get this adamant built up properly hey.
See you about.

Thanks to everyone that has posted, sorry to hear that some of you don't like the video.
Jonny thanks for the comments, I've always wanted to try and do some filming in Derby town center when the christmas lights were up, just to see how it looked. Low light stuff does blow but I only had a couple of hours to ride and film and a couple of evening's after work to make the vid. The interlacing issue is being worked on, I've just switched over to mac, so I'm not to familiar with Final Cut yet ( first attempt ).
Matt thanks for the comments, me and Ben rode Burton with Woody on Boxing day and he mentioned about the sheffield thing, we are definately up for that, should be good.
Thanks to all

Am I missing something?, is there a problem with the video?, I've just this minute swapped the video over to another server, pretty much all my bandwidth is gone on the 26twenty server. If anyone has any spare space that they could upload it to that would be great. It's also on Youtube see below
Thanks

Merry Christmas to every one at Trials Forum
Right, I thought I'd make a little Christmas video, I filmed this all in one everning after work on Tuesday, and managed to get it together in the last couple of days.
If it's not up on the site please give it a little time, as I've only just this minute uploaded it. The video is titled "District Lights"
As always comments welcome, I hope you all enjoy it.
Alot more stuff to come in 2007
Thanks

Once again Jonny, you've raised the bar in all aspects of production. Will defo be getting a copy of this, looking forward to it.

Thanks to everyone who's commented so far, I thought this might be a love it or hate it video kind of a video. All of your comments will be forwarded to my bro for his next attempt. I think its my turn next to edit a video, so keeps your eyes open.
Matt - thanks for the post, I know what you mean, I never seem to get in front of the camera these days, it's my own fault I get to involved in the filming and with Ben and Neil jumping around all over the place I don't want to miss anything. I will try to for the next video.
Cheers

Right guys, after all the encouraging words you all said about Bens last video ( The _Years.mpeg ), he decided to have another crack at a video.
As always we'd love to hear what you all think.
Thanks to Danny and Tom for hosting this video for me. Much appreciated
Cheers

Liked the video, and I envy the fact you have a cottage on a island ( very cool ). One thing though - it's always going to be difficult using a track from such a classic section as Matt Hunters in the Collective.
Nice one

Nice one, I didn't even know you were working on a new video. s'all good.
The face plant was hilarious, and I see you've finally managed to nail the hop to splatter you were telling me about.
Nice one mate, I'm sure I see you around soon.

As Neil said top video, and a great example that standard pads work fine, just take a little more setting up. ( something that Neil can never be bothered with LOL. )
Top vid, one I will watch again.

Nice vid again, some of those spots look pretty good, if fact it's made me want to ride a little bit of natural which is saying something.
I'm sure I'll see you out and about sometime soon.
Nice one

Defiantly the way forward, I think more people have widescreen TV's now and even monitors ( once your get one you'll never go back ). I just started filming in widescreen for the 26twenty videos, should be loads better. I hope!!

Honestly I didn't expect this kind of response from this video, I thought people wouldn't be interested, because like I said when I posted it, "it is very personal to us". But everyone seems to have got the idea and got on board with the feel of the video. Cheers guys much appreciated.
Johnny
Your response was what I expected from everyone else, to be fair this vid was made many many moon's ago, long before the BBC and Radio 1 jumped on the Sigur Ros band wagon, so at the time it was quite original. And after that Ben didn't want to change it because the track gave it the kind of feel he was looking for.
Your comment "more of a montage for me really" kind of sum's up what he first set out to do, so I guess in that respect it is quite successful. Right it sounds like I'm picking on you and at what you said, not at all, I like to hear peoples opinions good or bad so thanks for posting.

Not you usual offering from us this time around, please read this before downloading.
The Years.mpeg is Bens first attempt at video editing ( broken wrist = boredom ), he just wanted to give it a try, so used some of the old clip's and photographs we hadn't used before to make a montage style video. It's kind of turned in to a video retrospective of some of the people we have rode with and do still ride with. We never planned on releasing this video but I think that he's done a good job and it's worth making available. However I imagine that some people might not find this video interesting and I can understand why, it is very personal to us. But don't say that I didn't warn you.
Right that's far to much waffle, if you want to download it and have a look please feel free. Comments welcome as usual, but please remember this is the very first time he's done any sort of editing.
Cheers

I've never really bothered with validation, Go-Live has always been known for creating suspect code at times. I test with as many different browsers both PC and Mac as I can, so as long as it runs fine I leave it at that.
Thanks for the advice on the "HTML 1.0 Strict, or HTML 4.1" I'll be sure keep all these things in mind when I build my next site.

Nick
Thanks for that
Looks like I'm going to have to go through it again then. I blame Go Live.

Nick
Thanks for the reply, illustration is what I did at University, so that's my real interest, but I couldn't get it to pay the bills so that's why I started with web stuff. I really like combining the two. The illustrations took my maybe a couple of weeks, the only problem is that I still do all my illustration work in photoshop, and I should be using illustrator. Ha I'm so backward's sometimes.
The site took me a little longer, I have a tendency to build a site..... get board of it and start all over again. So I've been building the new 26twenty for maybe 6 mounts, on and off.
I've taken you comments into consideration, I've changed the index page a little, I'm still not totally happy with it but it's defiantly easier to understand, and there's a new gallery up.
Thanks everyone for the comments, if anyone has any idea's on way to improve the site I'm all ears.
Thanks
Jim

Seriously guys thanks for all the responses, I never realized that our earlier sites inspired so many people. It's good to hear things like that.
Nick thanks for the feedback, the index page was something that I was a little worried about, I wasn't sure if people would get the idea straight off, and I wanted to see what people thought. I'll defiantly have to come up with something else for that page. And I was waiting for someone to point out the type as .giff issue, I realize that it's bad web practice to do such things and I thought alot about it and decided to go with giff's for type as I didn't want to compromise on aesthetics. If you can think of a web safe font that would look OK then I'll give it a go. I'll also take a look at the image sequence buttons to see if I can make them more obvious.
Rich, thanks for the post you kind of summed up exactly what it is that we are trying to do. The original three 26twenty riders are all back riding trials only, we've got a video with Neil almost complete, should be ready fairly soon ish.
Thanks Matt, I'm sure I'll see you about over summer, I want to sort out a ride in Sheffield with Ben, Neil and Woody to do some filming. I'll speak to Woody and get him to tell you when we're going.
Neil thanks for the slightly biased response.
Thanks to all, keep an eye open we've got more stuff on the way.
