  1. Matt Nice vid again, some of those spots look pretty good, if fact it's made me want to ride a little bit of natural which is saying something. I'm sure I'll see you out and about sometime soon. Nice one Jim
  2. Defiantly the way forward, I think more people have widescreen TV's now and even monitors ( once your get one you'll never go back ). I just started filming in widescreen for the 26twenty videos, should be loads better. I hope!!
  3. Honestly I didn't expect this kind of response from this video, I thought people wouldn't be interested, because like I said when I posted it, "it is very personal to us". But everyone seems to have got the idea and got on board with the feel of the video. Cheers guys much appreciated. Johnny Your response was what I expected from everyone else, to be fair this vid was made many many moon's ago, long before the BBC and Radio 1 jumped on the Sigur Ros band wagon, so at the time it was quite original. And after that Ben didn't want to change it because the track gave it the kind of feel he was looking for. Your comment "more of a montage for me really" kind of sum's up what he first set out to do, so I guess in that respect it is quite successful. Right it sounds like I'm picking on you and at what you said, not at all, I like to hear peoples opinions good or bad so thanks for posting. 26twenty Early Vidoes Music 26twenty 01 First half - Gorilla ( not the animated versions, an old school Derby band from back in the day ) Acid test Second Half - Linkin Park Cure For The Itch 26twenty 02 Intro - Smashing Pumpkins . 4. Not you usual offering from us this time around, please read this before downloading. The Years.mpeg is Bens first attempt at video editing ( broken wrist = boredom ), he just wanted to give it a try, so used some of the old clip's and photographs we hadn't used before to make a montage style video. It's kind of turned in to a video retrospective of some of the people we have rode with and do still ride with. We never planned on releasing this video but I think that he's done a good job and it's worth making available. However I imagine that some people might not find this video interesting and I can understand why, it is very personal to us. But don't say that I didn't warn you. Right that's far to much waffle, if you want to download it and have a look please feel free. Comments welcome as usual, but please remember this is the very first time he's done any sort of editing. Cheers www.26twenty.com
  5. I've never really bothered with validation, Go-Live has always been known for creating suspect code at times. I test with as many different browsers both PC and Mac as I can, so as long as it runs fine I leave it at that. Thanks for the advice on the "HTML 1.0 Strict, or HTML 4.1" I'll be sure keep all these things in mind when I build my next site.
  6. Nick Thanks for that Looks like I'm going to have to go through it again then. I blame Go Live.
  7. Nick Thanks for the reply, illustration is what I did at University, so that's my real interest, but I couldn't get it to pay the bills so that's why I started with web stuff. I really like combining the two. The illustrations took my maybe a couple of weeks, the only problem is that I still do all my illustration work in photoshop, and I should be using illustrator. Ha I'm so backward's sometimes. The site took me a little longer, I have a tendency to build a site..... get board of it and start all over again. So I've been building the new 26twenty for maybe 6 mounts, on and off. I've taken you comments into consideration, I've changed the index page a little, I'm still not totally happy with it but it's defiantly easier to understand, and there's a new gallery up. Thanks everyone for the comments, if anyone has any idea's on way to improve the site I'm all ears. Thanks Jim
  8. Seriously guys thanks for all the responses, I never realized that our earlier sites inspired so many people. It's good to hear things like that. Nick thanks for the feedback, the index page was something that I was a little worried about, I wasn't sure if people would get the idea straight off, and I wanted to see what people thought. I'll defiantly have to come up with something else for that page. And I was waiting for someone to point out the type as .giff issue, I realize that it's bad web practice to do such things and I thought alot about it and decided to go with giff's for type as I didn't want to compromise on aesthetics. If you can think of a web safe font that would look OK then I'll give it a go. I'll also take a look at the image sequence buttons to see if I can make them more obvious. Rich, thanks for the post you kind of summed up exactly what it is that we are trying to do. The original three 26twenty riders are all back riding trials only, we've got a video with Neil almost complete, should be ready fairly soon ish. Thanks Matt, I'm sure I'll see you about over summer, I want to sort out a ride in Sheffield with Ben, Neil and Woody to do some filming. I'll speak to Woody and get him to tell you when we're going. Neil thanks for the slightly biased response. Thanks to all, keep an eye open we've got more stuff on the way. Jim
  9. Simon I've noticed that you are the friendly resident web tech on here and usually post about peoples web sites. From you that means alot. Thank you.
  10. Right, I wasn't sure where to post this as its a website and a video. ( if any mod's want to move it please feel free ) I've finally finished the new version of 26twenty.com and there's a new video West.mpeg. 26twenty.com Please take a look, watch the video and tell me what you think. Cheers Jim
  11. Completely agree, At least it's nice to see someone trying something different.
  12. You boys, dedicated to the core. I don't even leave the house let alone ride when the weathers like that. Over all a good video with a nice feel. I'll have to do some filming of Woody riding natural for a 26twenty video, I never tried to film or edit natural. Jim.
  13. Yeah that's the chap, he cracked that, now he's got a orange 221 Pro. Cheers Jim
  14. There's some of my brother riding his 221 in Apart.mpeg on 26twenty. They'll be a new vid in the next few weeks, plenty of 20" street. Cheers Jim
  15. Thanks Matt, I downloaded your vid, Strange to see Woody riding rocks. He's always trying to get me to ride rocks with him, but I'm strictly street. Maybe I'll have to get some natural footage of him for one of the next vids. Anyway nice one. Cheers Jim
  16. Right, I know for some reason I've got a problem with the web forwarding company I use. I' ve uploaded the site to some web space I've got so excuse the address. The link below should take you to the site. www.26twenty.com Sorry peeps, hopefully you should be able to get the vid. Cheers Jim
  17. Thanks for all the comments glad to hear everyone like the vid. And yes that is Luke Waymond in the vid, very strange that some one on here would know him, I'm glad you reminded me of his surname, I can never remember it. And Ben started riding trials again a couple of months ago, not long after the last vid, he started riding his koxx but didn't like the way it felt ( far to long ) so he welded his old monty with some extra gussets and had it sprayed, then put his old PDW's on it. The shorter bike suits his riding style, and it feels more like his BMX so swapping over isn't as difficult. There was some of Burton in that vid, will be some more in the next one. We ride there on Sundays occasionally. Song's are both by "And you will know us by the trail of the dead": 1: Worlds Apart / 2: Ode to Isis Anyway thanks again guys much appreciated.

    26twenty Video

Right then, just finished the second video from us ( apart.mpg ), more trials in it this time round. I'm also working on another version of the site and a third video, I just knocked the current site up so that I could put the vid on it, so excuse the site. Really interested to hear what people think of this one. Thanks Jim
  19. Yeah woody, definitely think we should take a trip up to Doncaster. Yeah that's right we were in MBUK a while ago so that's proof that I've had the name for ages. And he's going to get it copyrighted, humm You're right Janson, in both counts, automatically covered and just a bunch of kids!! The guy's name is James Richardson, I think, a little bird told me. And I really don't think so!! You really should change the name, everybody knows that you copied it from me. Why bullshit!!!
  20. Yes I'll agree that it could be possible but .tk, that seems to me that he tried all the others and couldn't get them cause I've got them already.
  21. Does anybody feel this is a little off, I've just found a trials site named, wait for it www.26twenty.tk, now I think this mabely a little close to www.26twenty.com. I've been using 26twenty for the past few years now and don't plan on stopping. I'm currently working on a new version and a new video featuring more trials as my brother is riding trials again instead of BMX. Does anybody have any thought's on this, becasue to say the least I'm a little pist off!!! And if the guy that choose the name reads this I'd like an explanation, if that's not to much to ask. Jim
