when i pull the lever and the pistons are out i can wiggle them lol. owell hopefully it might go away, i just cant see it being the pads cos its only since i bled it that the noise started

im fairly 100% sure its not the pads. there was no noise on sunday, but i bled it monday and now theres play in the pistons. bareing in mind this brakes about 4/5 years old , can replacement seals be bout or is it new brake time?

checked it today and theres a fair amout of play in the pistons, is it possible that the seals have perished? can i buy replacement ones?

yer but its never done it before thats the thing. its louder than the pads moving about as that was the first thing i looked at, could it be possible that the seals have gone?

i dont no, it was fine yesterday im using the same pads aswell, its just happend after i beld it :bunny:

right i bled my brake today, all went fine, set it up but now when i back hop, wheel swap, just generally using the brake theres a weird knocking noise coming from the calipers, sounds like the pistons are rattling inside the caliper :bunny: have i done something wrong? can i fix it? cheers!

oh yer, what did happen to your bike mate? was it on section 2, seemed to have a mega freewheel skip?

herne bays got a wicked mix of natural and street, really tech and some big drop gaps, what ever youre into really. if youre coming down give me a shout and ill see if i can get a few of the local bums out for a ride :D

hmm still pretty unsure , has anyone tried the sycros bht tyres? 50a compound might be a good in between if the sidewalls are good?take a look

right i know this might have been asked before but i need a straight/simple answer! i love maxxis tyres but having used the super tacky high roller for about 2yrs solid i must have spent well over £100 on them! i ride pretty much everyday and the super takcys are just wearing out too quick so im thinking about getting the 60a compound. is there much difference in grip? i ride street and natural and dry or wet. will this tyre be ok? cheers!
