  1. Hi, www.trials-shack.co.uk was a very good website for vid's but is not up at the moment i don't think. www.trialmedia.co.uk has lts of good quality trials videos on it aswell as reviews, riders and a load of useful links. another option would be to look at peoples t-f profiles and goin on their personal sites aswell as having a look at the sites, vids and pics section of the forum to see peoples user posted personal websites and links to vids. search through http://www.eengoedidee.nl as there are quite a few good trials videos on that website although you do have to sign up first before you start downloading videos. alternatately you could find some of your own by searching on google etc. for vids http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=tri...yUK%7CcountryGB hope that this helps, Tom
  2. I spent ages looking up this stuff when I bought my camera and I love it. The one thing I don't like about it is that I can't do time lapse recording. The camera is a Panasonic NV-GS200. 10X optical zoom and 500X digital zoom (though digital zoom on any camera is not a big deal anyway - quality suffers) It carries an SD card (comes with an 8mb one - small) and you can take photos (saved to SD) while you record footage. It's a 3CCD camera (most of these tend to be quite expensive) so it gives excellent colour quality and I was well impressed with it's low light ability. There is a 2/5" LCD screen on the camera and it comes with a remote control. It also comes with a hand held microphone/remote type thing so you can do "news report" style recording. Another feature I particularly like is burst mode camera pics. This will not work while recording video but when you switch to record to SD card it will fire off 10 (I think) quick succession shots. Come to think of it - while in SD mode you can record MPeg4 video to the card so the burst mode would probably work while recording video to the card. There is no touch screen as can be found on many sonys but the controls themselves are simple. The whole package is really compact (one of the reasons I bought it as it has to fit into a smallish pelicase before I shove it into the back of my kayak) I'd recommend one of these to anyone if you can get it at the kind of price I did. I bought over ebay from a seller in Hong Kong and I couldn't be happier. The price in total was 750 Euro so about 500 GBP. Oh yeah - it's got it's own popup flash too Tom
  3. Ok then, I would like to get some new mod forks. I have around £60 to spare which i know isn't much but i was just wondering what would be best to get on this sort of budget. I'm really looking to upgrade my onza forks (the ones which come as standard on most onza mods). My Requirements: <£60 Need to have four bolt mounts. Disk mount would be preferable for future upgrade. Strength isn't really that important as i'm pretty light. Weight isn't that important either although lighter forks are obviously going to be preferred. Straight bladed forks are preferred. Will buy second hand if in good condition. I was looking at these but they don't seem to be too much of an upgrade from the standard onzas': Monty 220 Hydra Forks (rim and disk brake mounts) I also liked the echo easy/teams with 4bolt/disk for £70 from select bikes and I think that I can stretch that extra £10 more.Made from special U6 aluminium, these forks are light, yet very strong. A thick steerer tube which is welded to the crown of the fork stops the steerer from bending or breaking. Available in 3 different sorts, Disc + 4-bolt available for me. http://selectbikes.com/shop/description.php?prodid=24 What do people think of these forks? And if you have any other reccomendations then i'd be happy to hear them. Also if you have any good condition second hand forks for sale then post up to the topic aswell. I like the look of these it's just i think that they're a little on the short side and i don't know of any price. Viz forks Cheers, Tom
