i know danny smith did it a while back when he was riding with prawn. i think so long as it wasnt laced radially it should be covered, don't quote me on that though.
ye i was going to say danny did, in the roadtrip video on that insane gap drop...
matt_urban has done it as well and im sure there are a few others that have.
i have to say, when i got my king and i looked at the size of the flange it is quite small and it made me think... but ah well, we will see :o .
will it be covered on warranty?

i didnt actually say it was shit dan :P . well i spose i sort of emplied it but i didnt say it out right :P they are OK rims, but arent they just tryall rims with eyelets? which we know are poo so you can kind of work with that...
mine has pissed me off.
my first viz rim lasted ONE week before being litterally square (thats the one i use in engage video 5) so it did take quite a beating. but still one week for £35 (Y) .
i am using these 05 ones with the octagonal holes now and lets just say it isnt square and thank the lord i am getting an echo rim haha. :lol:
a 2.5 maxxis minion on a wide viz rim fits FINE in the pures, just to clear that up with anyone else.
and what are peoples problems with dan posting a topic like this? he just wants to make sure that it will be allright as he doesnt want to be messing around sending stuff back etc. im not having a go at anyone, but come on , this is a forum...

just put a new grind on it and it will be mint, everyone else who uses koxx bloxxs with a grind have no problems? mine were also fine >_<
how long has your brake been good after you sprayed the engine cleaner on it? i cant see it being good for long...

i am running the green rim jams on a clean rim and they are beasty and are immense with a TINY amount of tar...you even need to use a bit of tar with zoo's to get the wanted amount of bite and they wear down stupidly fast.
plus the rimjams are cheaper...they are green...and work just as well as zoo's and last longer

i was going to post "que steve or matt b" here :P haha, listen to steve though he is the street machine and knows what he is talking about, im a bummer (Y) . i REALLY need to learn wall rides, its really bugging me that im scared of them :) . ages ago i just used to go for it and throw myself at walls, stopped doing that so much when i kept taking most of my arm skin off. haha.
so ye you really have to throw yourself at the wall and not be scared, like me :"> . just go for it after getting the feel for it on a slightly slopped wall:)

very nice and neat adam :S" looks very snazy, i have allways wanted a carbon booster (Y) haha nah looks really cool.
the "arms" bit where it attatches to the mounts look a bit thin though, might just be the angle and my eyes/gingerness though.

Shape of a tyre depends on the rim your using.
I reckon it would work if you were running a d521 with a pad bodge as the rim would give the tyre more profile and less width.
Also maxxis tyres are rather narrow for the stated size, or they used to be.
I remember old 2.5 maxxis measuring 2.25 or there abouts.
Whereas tioga over measure there tyres, they state 2.3 when infact its a 2.5/6 at least
if you are using a 521 DO NOT get a 2.7 maxxis. i had bad problems with my 2.5 maxxis on a 521 as it allways popped off the rim with the slightest foldage..

Mr travis. dont get goodridge hosing, it feel wank unless you use water and there is no point spending £27 on it imo... and yes i have used it.
go back to plain old black stuff (Y) tis the best.
