+1 for trialtech foams... perfect thickness, so cusion your hands quite well and soft enough to stop blisters... iv just started riding again after 7 years off the bike... i get zero blisters on my palms... its my braking fingers that get the brunt of it haha.

just a quick question... its unlikely that i'm going to have my bike sorted by sunday... but, my friend says hes more than up for entering this comp! so just wondering, what are the chances of us both entering the comp, but using the same bike?

If i manage to get a front brake sorted between now and the 17th, i'll put an entry in for the craic! bearing in mind, havent rode trials (or any bike for that matter) in almost 7 years haha. i cant still do it though! just fitness is the issue these days XD
If i dont manage to get a brake, no doubt one of you lads will let me have a blast on your bikes once the comp is over! haha

I think my main downfall is due to my portion sizes... i like a BIIIIG scran... haha. i eat reasonably healthy, with the occasional sweet (cake, chocolate bar etc) but my main source of calories come from the amount of food i eat each meal haha. i cant just have 2 weetabix, i need 6... i cant just have 1 bacon role, i need 2... that sort of thing haha. i also work shifts, so my routine always changes, which is also what i'v found to be a killer for gaining weight... not to mention i have a dodgy as hell knee and a bad shoulder which stops me exercising (making excuses now, i should just accept that inner fatty of mine! XD)

P.S, have you got any photos of last years event? I'm interested in seeing what the sections/riding area looks like!

Awesome! I'm just down in carlisle, havnt rode trials in around 6-7 years... but wanting to get back into it (just need a front disk brake for my mod, then its good to go!) i wont be competing, but will definately come up for a watch!

Christ, first time back on TF for around 6 years... cant believe this post is still going haha.
I'm in the same boat as TROY... havent really entered a gym for around 7 years, havent rode my bike for around 5 years, weighing a good 14stone now! oops. Ah well

Is it me or is there no crowd? Surely the crowd would be like "oh no"...
yeah, there didnt seam to be any cheering or anything either... i wouldnt like to pay to listen to a women barking on stage when my dog can do it for free! lol

that would actually be amazing to workout to... trying to keep the tempo of the music up by running jumping etc would be great for excersize!

I just finished working 5 weeks none stop, 8 hour shifts mon - fri, 12 hour shifts sat - sun, alternative shifts too, so 6 - 2 one week, 12 hour earlys sat sun, monday id be on 2-10 for a week, then 12 hour nights sat sun, then 8 hour nights the following week and so on... in the past 5 weeks, i earned £3,476.58. but walked away with £2,549.54 after paying bloody £927 tax!!
lol. in total, i done 94 hours over time though... it all adds up! iv been at my current job for only 5 months so far, and in that 5 months iv earned £12,901 
oh yeah, im on £13.66ph basic and £17.85OT as a factory worker for Pirelli Tyres hah! -
i was outside the pub having a fag and i seen it... i wondered why that 'firework' didnt make any noise lmao!

This is the final edit from my winter season in Chatel/Morzine, France this year... i think it turned out quite well considering we only got the go pro 4 weeks before we came home! lol. im the guy in the yellow pants... enjoy!

Hey guys...! You know sometimes when you type a huge, in depth, post... But it doesnt actually post...? Yeah, well thts just happened to me... Argh!
( lol. Anyways, im gonna keep this one breif! Here goes:Im over in france doing a winter season, when i got here in december, my laptop connected to the internet without any problems (its public, anyone can use it...) anyways... Up until 6 days ago it was fine! But 6 days ago, it lost connection and wouldnt connect again... So i spoke to my friend, who said change from DHCP to manual ip... I done that... Typed in the ip and boom! It connected... With a problem... No webpage at all will load... Even the update centre and software centre (im using Ubuntu...) wont work... As it says i dont have an internet connection... BUT... I was using skype via my laptop last night with no problems at all? I dont get this problem! Im starting to think its something to do with firefox and needs updating... But i cant update it if the update centre wont work! :-S lol. Also, my bosses laptop, his wifes laptop, my collegues laptop and her phone, and my phone... Are all connected and are working fine! Its just my laptop that wont!

hi hguys, i need a real quick answer...
I have bought a hs11 2011 lever and i im trying to bath bleed it... but its not having any of it! lol
Iv taken the grub screw etc out and iv tried the traditional method... but the bleed hole at the lever doesnt seam to be sucking at all... iv even tried blowing and sucking through the bleed bolt at the lever and it its just asif its an air lock and it wont let me suck water through or blow air through from the lever...
does anyone know the answer? i dont have a syringe to try that method... help! lolcheers guys
