Was it really that long ago now?
Seems like yesterday the news came through. I remember logging onto the forum and a page came up explaining what had happened. Seems so familiar!

Im not a regular on the forum anymore, I only occasionaly visit. But I felt I had to say something.
Im just listening to a song called My Konstantine. Im sure alot of you will remember this song, relating it to DJ, a tragedy resulting in losing him.
I apologise if bring this upsets anybody, but I felt I should say that although I never met the guy, when I heard about what had happened, knowing he was a good guy on the forum, it was a shock to the system as Im sure it was for everybody.
Just felt I should say the guy still pops into my thoughts, as Im sure he does alot of people. I hope they are treating you well, where ever you are now mate.

Unscrew the lockring on the freewheel.
Poke out all the bearings on the back, leave the cog and bearings in the front.
Seam of weld in the back where the locking ring and bearings where.
Worked for me for year and half.. and someone else is still using it.

Just use what it was designed for...
If water was better... I'm sure they would of designed them to use water.
Iv'e tried everything in my maguras and then finally realised that its just best to use what your meant to use.

In a steel frame... Yes.
But if it was a steel frame with 4 bolt mounts, they use thin plates to manufacture the 4 bolt..... You cant Helicoil them....
Which leaves his frame to be... yes... Alluminium...
