  1. yea man, i would seriously advise doing a grind, once you have done it, you will think it is well easy, cause it is!! just do it then you never have to worry about it, and pay for some deasent pads i am running koxx browns and i think its perfect, remmber to set your brake up good though and not to have any rub :D

  2. I could be wrong but I don't think it's a mod frame:

    1. Brake mounts look like stock positioning

2: I can see a gear cable guide on the gear side seat stay

3: I can see another gear cable guide on the gear side of the downtube

4: I can't see any bash plate mounts

    It's a stock for sure!

number 2 : This is a guide for a disc as it looks :S aswell number 3

Number 4 : not all mods have to have a bash :S

  3. dont do any of that, get your self a grinder, its soo easy its unbelivable. Take off your tyre and inner tube. Then go around the wheel keeping the grinder at a right angle to the rim. Then kneel on the rim at the bottom and work you way around the rim making a light mark, then go around again untill you have a good grind, just dont good too deep. Then get some koxx bloxx or you can have a good brake just on cool stops. My friend runs cool stops with good grind and has no problems. I would recomend this first ( AND WEAR GOGGLES) Otherwise i can advise plazmatic yellow pads on a smooth rim. Matt staples is riding with them on his new bike at the moment on a smooth rim and the grip is amazing!

    Hope this helps buddy

p.s. and i wouldn't advise tar this is just an easy way out of getting a good brake, doesn't last long and is not good in the rain. To do it properly grind, as this will pay off in the long run after taking off and putting on new tar.

    Thanks

  4. I am going to hold a mini ride down my way in memory with black tapes. This is soo sad, you never think it will happen to you, but take note, please please please wear your helmet, 60 pounds itsn't much when it could help save your life and never ride without one. This isn't the first and we dont want any more.

I cant say any more, this guy will be remmbered

    Ian

  5. Thats a good point, but when i was talking to adam he said he had been riding quite a while. But still no excuse ALWAYS wear your helmet.

Im not sure what colour to get at the moment any ideas and comments on the geo as i ride a python 05 at the moment

    Thanks

  6. search through the topics as i remember this guy who had a really nice monty 26" but had a smaller wheel i think. Anyway the point is on there was a guy who can build the convertors that bolt into your old mounts to creat new mounts. I cant rerember the name of the topic but i will have a look for you to see if i can find it.

    hope this helps

  7. Anyone got one of these toxsin 1. I know you can get them from this site, which I have bought stuff from before and have been very good. What are they like for normal street riding?

  8. I read most people's posts and the first page i totaly agree with. Does this guy try to be a gay cause thats what i see him as! For a start, for the 100 time, your grammar is crap and who cares ohnestly. Also why, why does it matter even though i could hardly read it, I got the jist and why dont you just get on with it and get a life?

    Thanks

  9. hi people

i was just wonderin how high you people could side hop afta a year of riding, just to see if i am any good at the moment

my highest is 33" which i done yesterday

    cheers

If you can hop high it doesn't mean you are good. There is alot more to trials than hopping as high as you can.

  10. if you are coming to london, you may aswell come to frinton too as its about 1 hours drive on top and has some real nice spots to ride. In between frinton and London there is ipswich, and other towns?

If you want some pics of the rocks and riding i can?

    Ian

  11. If you want some cool, chilled out natural rock riding. Then come my way to a place called Frinton on sea. There are some funky little street spots but the rocks on the sea front are a killer, there soo fun.

Anyway, if you want more information, pm me or i will keep an eye on this thread

  12. only advise i would say is get it cut, I use to ride with long hair and when you get it cut it feels the best because you dont have it slapping you in the eyes all the time!

    Ian

the bandana idea sounds ok though, may look a bit of a cock though
