  1. Hi All, Thought I'd post this here in case anybody's interested. I'm not an expert on this trick but this is all based on what I've learned so far; some might help you some might not. Also a bit of the video isn't really related but it was fun to make. Hope you enjoy. -Jon Here's some tips below: Switch Nose Manual Tips -Its important to keep a light, gentle, but quick stance on bike at all times. If you feel a lot of force in any direction its likely to be jump off and try again time. The balance point is very small. Don't let the bike get into an attitude that requires forceful correction. This involves paying very very close attention much more so than normal. For example if you think about your balance every 20msecs try to notice every 2msecs! - Don't throw your self off balance during the transitions - 180 endo & reverse to nose manual. You might think that you can do a manuever then get back to thinking about being light, nimble, but that usually doesn't work. You have to always feel balanced. In other words be gentle with your balance and don't disturb it even if it seems like it will help you do the trick. - Keep rear tire low during the 180 endo. This will result in a much more predictable/stable platform when starting to move backwards. To initiate the endo use a light feathering of the front brake. A hard pull may be too unpredictable / disturb direction weight&balance too much. - Don't bang your knees, shins, ankles against the frame during the 180 endo. While it might help getting the bike around, it will be unpredictable. By keeping them not locked against the frame then your ankles can help to accurately place the the rear in reverse direction. - Keep a very light, almost imperceptable slight touching of your brake pads to the rotor. It will help you react quicker & won't slow you down perceivably. -This is a hard trick to learn - akin to the first time you tried to rear wheel hop. Also its four tricks in one - 180 endo, reverse riding, pedal back + jump up and bend knees into nose manual and nose manual corrections. Generally you also have to unlearn a fear of faceplanting. Good luck!
