  1. About a year ago there was a video out called forwards, it was on vimeo but for the life of me i cant seem to find it.

It was a long video, around an hour, alot like the get videos or trial media.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Hi, I'm hoping to grab the attention of a moderator here, my account has recently been changed to pre-members Im assuming after a topic was created named 'Trail bikes are gay'. This happened after my flatmates went on Facebook rape frenzy and then decided they see what else they could get me on. I just wondered if my full rights could be restored? Its quite obvious that it wasn't me for the simple fact that i've been a member for about 5 years and 'trials' was spelt 'trails'. Any help?

  3. Hey guys, me and my flatmate recently set up our own music blog for a bit of fun, it includes a lot of dance and electro from my flatmate, whereas I like to include some indie and alternative stuff.

Generally though we plan to have a nice broad range of music going onto there so please head over and check it out at the following links. (By the way i figured it would be okay to advertise the blog on here as its just for fun and non profitable?)

Thanks a lot, hope you enjoy what goes up there.

  4. What model iPod is it? I.e. does it have a hard disk (iPod classic / mini). If so it sounds like the hard disk may well be knackered. If a complete format / restore doesn't work then I'd wager you're out of options. A new hard drive isn't prohibitively expensive though, as long as you're willing to try and fit it yourself.

yeah it certainly seems like its just old and gone. I only bought it off a friend for a tenner to try and get it going, so if a new hard drive would sort it then its worth it. Im not sure exactly what model it is, but on the back it says 2007 and it looks like this... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/26/Black_Ipod_5g.jpg

Any ideas what gen it is and if the hard drive you suggested would be suitable?

  5. right, thanks a lot for your help. i've tried reformatting it a few times, and the error 69 problem has gone. The only problem i'm left with now is that its still incredibly slow to navigate and respond when picking songs e.t.c.

I reformatted it simply by right clicking on the ipod in my computer and doing it, is it perhaps because of this and not using partition magic like you said that its still slow?

All i can really think now is that its just old and f**ked.??

    thanks again

  6. That was a bit uncalled for. Ok, Dave's comment was slightly over the top but he has a point.

Why ask for help and then not actually explain what you need help with?

You're unlikely to get any help with that attitude.

I get abuse, i give abuse back. He didn't have to react like that, i know he had a point but Liam mentioned in a much more polite way the fact i wouldn't get much help without putting the problem up.

    But yeah sorry Dave.

    P.S problem explained.

  7. just tell the whole problem on the thread and i might be able to help and it would be easier for others to help tooo :)

Cool i'll put it up now then, was sort of a last resort asking on here because i've been trawling all over the internet looking for help but i know there can be some helpful people on here sometimes.

  8. Basically my Ipod is playing up big style.

When trying to put music on it i get error 69. Which the apple website claims is down to putting on corrupt songs.

However this cannot be the case because i can put the same songs on my other smaller ipod.

The other problem to mention is that the songs i manage to put on my ipod before it gets error 69 are slow to respond and my ipod generally lags and eventually crashes.

I have reformatted and restored my ipod a couple of times and still get the same problem.

I have also tried changing the Drive letter of the ipod.

Every now and again when i plug the ipod in a message from windows comes up suggesting to scan the ipod for problems, which leads me to think something deep down is corrupt, although i thought reformatting and restoring it would get rid of this?

Its a long shot that anybody will know what to do but its worth a try eh?

Ive explained the basics of my prob but feel free to ask plenty more questions on the matter because ive been trying to get this thing going for the past week.

    Cheers guys.
