Didn't you get the newsletter? As most people had made payment for the event and for their membership on one single cheque, these cheques will be processed. Every rider MUST submit an entry form for the new event. Your entry form will be enclosed with this newsletter, or you can complete the on-line entry form on the Events page of www.biketrialuk.co.uk . If you had paid for Shipley, your money will be carried forward to the 21st March event. Hi Sam Don't worry, we had the membership cards to hand out in February but will do it next trial. For anyone who was a member last year, it's the same number! If you weren't, don't worry this time, I'll fill that bit in for you provided you have re-joined.

Shipley today cancelled ... it's only the 2nd time we've ever cancelled a trial in over 12 years I'v been organising them! You just wouldn't believe, there was no snow at home but at least 4" up there - just couldn't see where the rocks were supposed to be and far too dangerous to go ahead ... even if you could have got the car up the hill to get there!!! Going to try to rearrange the next event to be at Shipley instead of Harden, so start getting excited about 21st March instead. We'll be in touch with everyone about money/refunds in the next day or two. Now, where's that fire so I can thaw out???

You need to get entries in Kyle and membership as soon as possible please.

PS. Brian has refused to let me help set up on Saturday this time ... so I'm glad to say that I won't be there in pot and crutches on Sunday!!!

I would guess you would need permission from the National Park authorities as well as from the actual landowner? Don't know though as I've never tried National Park land.

We're not side-stepping your question Will. We are trying to put together a fair policy for selection/progression through all of the classes and will get back to you on this in a few weeks time. If anyone has ideas/suggestions to be considered, please email info@biketrialuk.co.uk.

Unfortunately all the rocks are out in the countryside, with very few on public transport routes. Not many parents are prepared to drive the under 17's out to them on an evening (or even weekends), and the very young one's couldn't go alone on public transport. In my opinion, the more set-ups like the one suggested, with rocks in parks in towns all over the country, the better for the sport for the future. Hope it works out for you.

Podium pics from Shipley are also up, but not had time to do the year end podium pics or ridings pics. Hospital tomorrow but will try to do them on Wednesday. Thanks a lot everyone for the comments! Thankyou! I got home at 7.00pm and fell asleep exhausted - only just woken up!!! Will get the results done tomorrow for you all - let's face it - I can't do much but sit in front of the computer at the moment Many many thanks for all the help today, was great to see so many people coming forward to help.
