  1. The full Bunny Hop DVD has arrived - it really is good and well worth £7.99 - proceeds are to be donated to the Candlelighters children's cancer charity. It will be on sale at Dob Park on Sunday, the last TykeTrial comp of the year, then available on-line from Monday. Will put up a link when it's ready. Many thanks to James for all your work
  2. Sections set and all ready - see you there!
  3. Trials won't be the same without you all. Many thanks to Tara and little becky for all their help on control over the years! Barbara
  4. Don't worry ... no-one would be forced to move up if they didn't feel ready. In fact some people who were seeded in years gone by have asked to move down - not a problem, we want you to continue enjoying the comps! See you on Sunday.
  5. Not ignoring your interesting comments - can we continue the conversation next week? We have rather a busy weekend coming up and need to finish getting ready!
  6. Forecast says sunshine for both Saturday and Sunday for Shipley - keep fingers crossed they're right
  7. Happy to accept entries on the day - but it really really does help me if you pre-enter --- and saves everyone having to queue whilst I sort you out! See you Sunday. Barbara
  8. That was only in Spain ... he came 2nd in France and 2nd in Japan ... 3rd overall. Well done to all the British riders!
  9. You may remember in April this year we organised a fund-raising "Easter Bunny Hop" with 9 year old cancer victim Ben Carlile as guest of honour. I have received a call from Ben's dad to let me know that Ben passed away peacefully in Samantha and Kevin's arms at home this afternoon, he asked that I thank everyone for everything they did to help Ben, so many many thanks to everyone who came along that day, who contacted him and visited him, helped him out at trials when he first started, sent him presents, etc. You all know who you are, and Kev and Sam are very grateful. RIP Ben.
  10. Just heard that Jack Carthy came 2nd place - well done Jack!
  11. Good luck to everyone riding this weekend in France.
  12. Correct ... it's a "competition" in itself with an entry fee ... hence in 2005 when Martyn Ashton donated a bike to the raffle we were running to raise funds for the British world round, it was classed as the "fee" for Ashton Bikes entry into the "competition" and Ashton Bikes came 2nd in the world!

  19. Fred is travelling up there tomorrow (Wednesday). He will finalise details and phone me. Full information will be posted on www.biketrialuk.co.uk and on here as soon as we know (I haven't got a pass myself yet!) I will be setting off early on Friday morning - you have my mobile number to get information if you've left home before information is posted. Don't worry ... if you've entered the comp then you'll get your passes. Perhaps if people had entered earlier we could have had them mailed to you in advance!!!! Barbara
  20. Just a reminder, it's next Saturday! Please please please, if you haven't already got your entry to me ... DO IT NOW! We need to know how many free entry passes to get. The on-line entry form will be removed on Thursday afternoon, and I will be setting off to Fort Bill before the mail arrives on Friday so don't leave it till last minute. A note will be posted on here, and on www.biketrialuk.co.uk on how/when/where to collect your free entry tickets to the main event in advance - you can't sign on until you're in there!
