  1. i was just wandering how old you need to be to get a saturday job in halfords (bikehut). my careers advisor said you need to be 15 for a saturday job but i also heard that because of thew nature of the job ( selling glues etc) tha you may need to be 16 or even 18. have any of you got a saturday job there at 15, if you have what is the job actually like, hows the pay. cheers sam
  2. not fully ash, the first time i was on emery's brothers mountain bike and the second time i buggad up my knee at the union. so is anyone actually gunna come. sam
  3. as ive never ridden portsmouth yet i fancy riding it now, this is the only day i can make it for ages so please all you wonderful people out there come to portsmouth. i say 11 at the guildhall. so please don't make me look stupid and come along. sam

  5. ive jus bought a sony ericcson k700i off ebay and i just wanted to know if any of you had any major problems/ faults. also is there a slot to put in a memory stick if i wanted more memory. cheers sam
  6. cheers tom but ive tried ths before with one of the mega long allen keys and it really didint work, good idea though. im going to try my idea on an old bb and see if i can still get it undone if i really need to because thats the only method i havnt tried yet. sam

  9. as loctite doesnt seem to work on my crank bolts i was wandering if thread lock tape would do the trick, it would obviousy have to lock well, which it does but is it easy to remve too. sam
  10. i want to buy a new pc for my bedroom as ive had enough of using the comunal one in the dining room. i was wandering if any of you people had any recomendations of which ones are good. i would need someting fast, a reasonable sized hard drive and memory, reliable and something no more than £500. i deffinatley want something ready built as i have no idea about putting pc's together, i just know how to use them. i would also like to be able to upgrade it if i had any spare money but thats not a huge deal. sam
  11. well ive just bought a new welded freewheel but no i need to get my old one off and my new one on. so is there any other way to get them on/off without a freewheel tool as i don't have one. thanks sam
  12. i need a new freewheel and i'm ordering it tonight ( amongst other things) and i was wandering if it was worth buying a welded one or loctiting my own, my lastloctited on came loose quite quickly but i was told by someone that a welded one is a rip off. whuch is the better one as i need to know so i can budget my spend. sam also are freewheel easy to take off.

  14. ive had enough of puttin my bike in the conservactory and it always falling over so i'd like some wall mounts or bracket to hang my bike on that would also let me do some work on my bike, i tried searchin the interweb but all i got was bb's and car mount thingy's. if any of you have any or know of any good ones could you please tell me where you got them because i'm really geting pissed off with not being able to to my bike because its fallen over and blocking the door. cheers sam

  16. once i get my bike sprayed i would like an armourdillo but because im gettin a whtie frane is there any other armourdillo style protectors that you can but in white or blue. or is there a way i could make one. sam
  17. me and bikerboysam1 are riding southampton on the 28th and i know there another topic somewhere but its all turned ino a ride thats happened, so here a new one. 1100 hours at the rear of soton train station. be there or be square. sam
  18. so would that be a good one as it has medium strength and the last lot of threadlock that was on there ( dont know which one it was) did wear off quite quickly or is that normal
  19. i went down to my local b&q to buy some loctite for my loose crankbolts but all i found was a wall full of products and i had no clue which one i needed, i asked an assistant who was pretty useless so i was wandering which one is the right one and also if i was looking in the correct shop. sam
