  1. i was just wandering how old you need to be to get a saturday job in halfords (bikehut).

    my careers advisor said you need to be 15 for a saturday job but i also heard that because of thew nature of the job ( selling glues etc) tha you may need to be 16 or even 18.

    have any of you got a saturday job there at 15, if you have what is the job actually like, hows the pay.

    cheers

  2. Hello sam,

    Hows it going?

    Well, what i do is, take bolt out wack a bit of grease on thread, and do it up as tight as you can, then top tip: Stand on allen key, use your weight, it does them up super tight with out having to use any thing else.

    hope this helped

    cheers wilky

    cheers tom but ive tried ths before with one of the mega long allen keys and it really didint work, good idea though. im going to try my idea on an old bb and see if i can still get it undone if i really need to because thats the only method i havnt tried yet.

  3. DEll's aren't really computers that you go out and buy when you have money, a DELL is a computer that you buy if your setting up a business and want a cheap reliable pc which will browse the internet, run all the office programs smoothley, and play solitare.Mike!!!

    lol ok i wont then.

    thanks for all the reply's so far but keep em coming.

  4. i want to buy a new pc for my bedroom as ive had enough of using the comunal one in the dining room.

    i was wandering if any of you people had any recomendations of which ones are good. i would need someting fast, a reasonable sized hard drive and memory, reliable and something no more than £500.

    i deffinatley want something ready built as i have no idea about putting pc's together, i just know how to use them. i would also like to be able to upgrade it if i had any spare money but thats not a huge deal.

  7. From Park Tool http://www.parktool.com/repair/readhowto.asp?id=58

    * Loctite® 222- a low strength threadlocker (water bottle cage bolts, etc.)

    * Loctite® 242- a low strenth threadlocker, but stronger than the 222 (good general use threadlocker)

    * Loctite® 246- a medium strenth threadlocker

    * Loctite® 290- a medium strength thread

    * locker, with low viscosity wicking properties

    * Loctite® 266 high strength threadlocker

    * Loctite® 270 high strength threadlocker

    * Loctite® RC603 retaining compound (for poor press fits)

    * Loctite® RC609 retaining compound (for poor press fits)

    * Loctite® RC680 retaining compound, high strength, large gap ability (for poor press fits)

    so would that be a good one as it has medium strength and the last lot of threadlock that was on there ( dont know which one it was) did wear off quite quickly or is that normal

  8. i went down to my local b&q to buy some loctite for my loose crankbolts but all i found was a wall full of products and i had no clue which one i needed, i asked an assistant who was pretty useless so i was wandering which one is the right one and also if i was looking in the correct shop.
