  1. Have you ever thought he got validated that quick because he actually added something to the forum?

They don't randomly validated people and miss out people for the fun of it.

Contribute something to the forum, and it will contribute something to you. You don't have to know everything about anything, just post decent replies in a decent manner and you will get validated easily.

This thread however won't help your cause.

This makes no sense at all...

What about the pre members who have added things to the forum but perhaps the mods have not seen?

It looks like they do randomly validate people.

Then at least change the First Visit Read This topic to something more realistic.

What else can he do? He's been a pre-member for a YEAR. If he's a sucky poster, ban him. Shit or get off the pot basically.

  2. I agree it's not a very good site, I really don't know why they don't just pay someone to make it all modern and put some half decent info on it, since they have got www.onza.co.uk slapped all over their bike's. (N)

I find most bike websites to be like this.. (Y)

    (most of the manufactureres sites)

  3. if you post a pic i will photoshop it in as many different colours as i can be botherd for you -

  4. I've been putting together my new bike for about the past 2 months (:ermm:), and I'm still unsure what stem to get. On my old bike I had a 90mm 30 degree stem, that was an Azonic DS-1, long chainstays, ~130 wheelbase. New bike is an Ashton ET24, so I automatically lose 1" from the front end due to the wheel size, but I think it has a slightly taller head tube. It also has much shorter chainstays and a longer top tube, and I'm 5'6" tall... I ride more streety stuff and want to be able to manual and all that. I was thinking about the Kore Lite 3 105mm 17 degree stem, and Easton EA70 1.5" rise bars. Would that be enough rise?

  5. This topic also applies for me, got into trials at like 16, quit a few years later, now 22 and taking it back up.

I'm hoping that it won't take too long to get back to where I was before, but yea as Onzaboymark says the limit will probably be physical. I quit trials because where I was living in Hampshire there were hardly any other riders and then I moved to London and started doing other things, that was pretty much it. Now I'm taking it up again because when I realised my bike needed replacing I started eyeing up trials bikes (Y)
