hi i was wondering if anyone else has had any problems when bleeding hope disk brakes, as about a month ago i tried to bleed mine and once i had tightened the bolts there was still a small amount of leakage, but the bolts were as tight as they would go without rounding the heads, in the end i gave up and put some silicone sealer around the cylinder on the lever, but it looks terrible! does anyone have any ideas about how i could fix it without sealing it? has anyone else had a similar problem?
also has anyone tried both the hope mono trials disk and the avid bb7, because since i have had the problems the brake has been really inconsistent. and i was thinking of changing to the bb7 but some of your opinions would be a great help
cheers , adam
hi adam the avid bb7 is a really powerful brake and i know allot of people who prefer them to hope

hey iv been riding dirt for the last couple of years or so and am becoming slightly bored. really im just wondering what trials is all about. seen some people in my area doing it at it looks amazing but quite difficult. just wondering really if anybody could give me some advice on whether its worth starting or not and how easy some of the stuff is to learn. thanks
:$ yes i think you should it may take you a couple of years to master most of it but its really rewarding when you get good

ive had alot of puncture and ive seen t h e rims that reckon dont give you snake bite punctures
are they any good.
-
hmmmmm....weird. i run the high roller and never get punctures. you getting snake bite? what tyre pressures and rim do you have aswell?
i run a tryall rim and run my tires at 28 psi usually.
-
well its like this i was using a single ply maxxis high roller and every ride i got punctures so i thought by changing it for a 2 ply tryall tire would solve my problems but i still get them any ideas.

ive seen allot of people with chris king hubs but ive seen allot of good riders with hope i just dont know whether to keep my hope or get a chris king
