  1. well look it this way, in downhill you use you front brake 70% and 30 % rear, 4x is the same, trials is the other way round, you don't need a powerful front brake just one that can hold your weight, if you looking for cheapy and easy to sett up rite get a vee's, i got my step brother in to trials, and he got a onza t-vee, i had a go and the front vee was amazing plus there rly cheap. and if you find it dont work well just throw on some heatsink get a rim grind/tar and it well be wicked, all down to if you have the money to buy it,

    hope this helps

  3. Basically this is a idea of something that could be getting put together in a couple of year depending on are research,

Basically its going to be a indoor and outdoor trials course with everything we can put in side and out side, This well be designed by the you guys, This is basically so we can and will be able to ride 7 days a week, will never get asked to more on by the police, Cold, wind, rain, snow, overcast, its all indoors

This is just an idea where i have asked around and talked to the local council in my area which love the idea and willing to help, to get us off the streets,

The unit well have everything you need for riding ,which will be. bike shop, cafe, toilets,

As im a rider myself i understand all your views and this well be built to the riders idea and not one person,

There will also be events and show held here is the course is good enuf.

All your help will me most help fall,

    Thank you

  6. polystyrene or styrafoam (sp?) are awesome model making tools... if you want a really nice finnish cover it in car bodyfiller and then spray it, thats how you make plugs for fibrelgass moulds etc! its an effort though!

If you want to go down this route you have to spray the foam in two pack paint (used on exteriors of houses) as, ive forgotten the details but something in the bodyfiller will eat the foam and this works as a barrier. then sand/fill/sand/fill/sand/fill etc, filler prime x3 then paint.. you'll have an awesome (but useless) mould!

the other alternative is to cad up the drawing and get the model laser cut out of foam :)

i do no i work with this stuff everyday but thanks from the help

number one i get the polystyrene form my dad unit who is the owner of p3dp polystyrene company

number two its not done yet

My dad webstie for all the polystyrene you can think of have a look

    thanks

  9. Hey there

I'm in southamton for week with my dad so i was hoping to go on a ride because iam crap and need to get better so i was think this saturday when most people are free its in totton i do not no much of it as i do not live with my dad that much

    thanks sam

  10. Sounds like a plan, yeah. I just reckon in a month or two loads of people are going to end up stripping/spraying/selling their fluoro rims just 'cos the novelty will wear off and they'll be left with gash looking rims, whereas with "regular" coloured rims, they've got more staying power. White and red is usually a pretty tasty combo though, so just think about what you'd like, make sure it's good quality componentry, then go nuts :)

Thanks for that and i think echo and tryall and hope and the best
