nice mate i think this is defo going to go on my ipod
about time i need something new and good to ride to
Just had a listen, Nicely done. Cheers for the download.
thanks guys!
It was good Josh, and cheers for letting it be downed for free. It was just lacking a little bit of 'wow' factor for me - I can't put my finger on it so I can't be more constructive I'm afraid Still very good though, and I'll probably stick it on in the gym tomorrow night.
I know what you mean about wow factor, if im honest i prefered last months... Just means i'll have to try harder next month =P

(regardless of the fact the other mix is still getting downloads)
Aprils mix uploaded, not alot to say about it really. More a colection of songs i like rather than new music... Big thanks to the people who keep downloading these, I'm not doing these for any profit (unless someone wants to offer me a club residency/night ) so any feedback good/bad is welcome

I really dont get how or why they've up'd the prices during a global recession... or they're obsession with dvd format music, fair enough they invented the dvd-r but why push a format NO-ONE uses?
streaming version to come shortly btw

I've had my denon just over a year and still learning new tricks with them, have always felt limited by the lack of four cue points though, for that reason i'm looking to trade upto (the now redundant) CDJ1000 MKIII's.
Having had a play on CDJ400's and having played a club using CDJ800's I'm suprised you'd use 400's, they felt nothing compared to 800's/1000's Plus for the money you can buy Re-loop RBmP3's which are a scaled down version of an 800, even have a similar feel on the platter !

Tracklist?
As rule I don't download mixes without tracklists, as the majority on the net suck and it wastes download time lol.

Meh !
Still the same 8 months after i bought it
-
Just ordered some for my mate, they cost 50 pounds inc. postage. Pretty reasonable price if you ask me.
As for them breaking, what exactly happened? Did you snap the axle?
no the body snapped, the axle is fine will get pics up when i find my cam.
-
how long have you been riding them? and do you have a fat ass?
Ridden for about a month and im only 11 stone chances are mine were just a bad set, as my mates been running his for over a year...... but meh i think its a fair warning.
-
Be careful with them i just smashed my set into 8 pieces
-
No 6802-2RS bearings = massive fail.
They the driver bearings ??? go on custom riders, the demolition 9t driver bearings are identical been running them in mine for aaaaages without a fail.
-
His section in "unsung" is also amazing
-
Thought they only come in 9/16 (3 peice bmx cranks) thread ? if not then yeah they'd do, have a mate who has them on his bmx and they seem fine !
-
A strange build but it looks good. Definetly different from the bikes today or at least on here.
But why the DLD stem when you have tall bars? I don't get it.
Bought the silencers going from tiny lil federal bars (7" high 24" wide) and for a while it was ok, but found it was a bit high for me so droped them slighty with the stem
-

it might be the last 2 washer you put on before the lock nut, check against the manual but i put them on in the wrong order and the red dial wouldnt stay on, checked on my rear one and found it the other way round
-
If its a LH thread simply drill the bolt with something like a 6mm or 8mm (not all the way through, you need the tap to bottom) and thread in a m8/m6 tap. if the bolt dosen't go at 1st grind /drill off the head of the bolt to release the pressure then try tapping down again. DONT apply too much force on the tap as if that snaps you'd need a solid carbide drill bit to get that out and probably a magnet/bench drill.
If the bolts a RH thread then got to a decent hardware store or look on the web for an "Easy out kit" and a hss 8mm drill, carefully drill out the center of the bolt until you deep enough to get an easy out in, grind/drill the top off the bolt and then simply push down and turn until the easy out turns the bolt out.
(easy out)
As was said above if it is a bmx bb (and not a euro bb) just push the axle through grip the axle in a vice, itll make the job sooooo much easier
-
well after about 12 hours riding the brakes have now fully bedded in and they just hold !!!! holds to the point i tapped, the rear wheel was on vert on a wall and it still held (just dropped the front wheel and rode off with a smile)
thanks for the comments, i was going for the compy look thanks
-
Have you broken the bb7 in yet? How's the performance? Does it have enough power as a rear brake? I used to ride a Simtra with a rear Hope and I loved the disc's performance and everything, but the mushy lever feeling was something I couldn't stand. So a few weeks ago I got myself a new Czar with a Dengura but I'm slightly missing the rear disc.. And as I still have the frame I was thinking of getting a 203mm bb7 to the rear and going back to the Simtra, as I could sell the Czar for the same price I got it.
Edit: Just noticed that... where is your rear valve?!
Avids been awsome today when it rained the brake went from good to amazing but i will probably end up buying hopes as i dont 100% trust how strong the avids are
Looks lush , but i wouldent trust a bb7 on the rear i snaped one in half in and 2 moths on and it was brand new :<Had one one the front of my mod for nearly 2 years and its fine, but i have heard horror stories about them
nitromores/ spray your rims and that will be even betterNo thanks i like the green kinda has a comp bike look
Awesome setup. I would love it if the sidewall on the rear rim had paint, but that is just for looks.Rear rim was 2nd hand will end up buying a new one soon though as this ones nackered
thanks for the comments soo far
