they would'nt be £3 that was the approxamate cost for a non anodised one to be manufactured
they would be £3 plus postage
is the drawing to scale or do you have the measure ments im very interested in this design
its to scale but it isnt finnised as below it need's altering i'll pm you about it
why dont you have it with long slots instead of holes, and in 2 bolt. that way i could buy it to fit my 2 bolt
it will when its done its just summit i knocked up quickly

same give's me a "403 warning " and says "access forbidden"

Hi all,
I was speaking to a guy today who runs an enginering company, he said that if i wanted he would cnc copy a booster made by a biking company and reproduce them anodised in different colours for something like 3 quid. I was thinking i could sell them on ebay for a fiver posted but i was'nt sure whether this was legal. please tell me what you think and if you would be interested
Gavyn
if its copy right thats an issue then i could send you my booster desing to use (i dont care abouot copyrights)
but i would accept a few boosters for my troubles
here's a quick prototype
i could desing it to any design you want though

if you really want to spend money then :
xtr vee calipers >link<
heatsink vee converters > link<
avid ultimate lever >link<
nokon cables >link<
xtr carbon fibre booster >link<
plazmatic v-fly pads >link<
thats pretty much my dream set up but if moneys an issue then a maggie with plazmatic crm pads will do fine

Avid Mechanical BB7 £69 best value for money !
this mans no the right track... so many people use them including me
just to list a few:
phil williams
james porter
cant think of any more off my head but ALOT of people use them and at £54 on sale at chain reaction cycles and they're amazingly powerful ....you cant go wrong can you
-
But on the website does it not say it will fit around 9t cogs or bigger? thanks for your help though you saved me wasting my money.
it fits around a 9 tooth driver IF you run a large diameter front ring e.g. 28 tooth (means less teeth have to sit on the rear cog because of the angle the chain sits at) i think it has shorter links or something
good luck what ever you go for

Hi there,
I had a bit of an accident yesterday involving my chain snapping it has snapped in the past as well and i was just wondering would it be better to use a different chain or to buy another kmc kool? at the moment i have a kmc Kool chain, but my mate informs me they stretch and gave me some advice he told me to get a shadow conspiracy V2 interlock chain, now i was just wondering if these would be any good for trials as he is a bmxer i'm not sure.
thanks alot, Nick.
friad not the v2 wont fit around a 12 tooth cog... tried and failed
bmx chains work fine and theyre also stronger because they are not built to flex like a mtb chain due to having gears, but if you use gears then a bmx chain is no good.. hope that helps... ad
don't get his hopes up i just got a bmx chain and they don't all ways work... you need a different size rear cog (don't ask me how its different i don't know) but a standard one make a REALLY loud noise and doesn't allow the chain to spin....
my advice is if you want to run a bmx chain buy an echo fixed cog (works for me) £12 ish .... other than that i'd say you cant go wrong with a khe collapse (sp?)
EDIT: what ever you do DONT get a hollow pin version of the kmc kool chain from what ive heard they snap
that should help
-
might just be that your chain is realy stretched?
-
looks good but i was you i would get it front freewheel set up. strangely it looks nice in the creamy white primer mabye do it cream that would make the hs33's stand out a touch though
well done hope its finnished soon
edit: is that a scewer through the back wheel ? that'll make tensioning hard
-
thing is making post complaining about it aint gonna help your situation is it ? ..... just stick with new members chat and i'm sure you'll get validated (however long it takes) regardless of your old tf name
-
quick thought ... won't the bash plate sit higher than the chain stays ? just looks that way, but the black does make me wanna sell ma zona for one if only it didnt have a intergrated headset
-
That was the first prototype, and the new one looks awsome... download bens vid of him riding it at the worlds... its on here
WB on a T-pro is 1025 (on mine with X-lite forks)
WB on the slinger sig frame is 1045... and rides VERY nice!
Its about 3 times more flickable than a python, and defo more flickable that a T-pro
realy ... in that pic it looks shorter
-
personally from the pic i'd say its as long as a t-pro but has shorter stays all good in my book, even if it looks odd i kinda like it !!!
-
there you go... its mine but its changed alot since this was taken
-
thats it
-
peyto 26" double disc (custom geo)
i LOVE it (even though its not mine)
-
Not so sure on the paint, looks more anodized from the pics but they say paint. You'd need to do lots of work on there mind.
You'd spend £30 out on the tools etc to remove the paint no matter what. I say hang on and get the £30 and get the polished frame.
even better there are a few Zoo Pythons cropping up now 2ndf hand mint con for the saem if not less price
the grey is painted (matt grey) and yeah you should be able to polish it though it would be easier to have it done proffesionally and it would look alot better
-
Hahaha , do I know you?
fraid not... but you get my vote
-
if you are talking about the echo team 05 then yer its "a nice looking frame"
but its not stron my freind dented the down tube with in four days of having it on a pot about wheel hight
the only problems i have seen with them is the suplyed bash plate bolt stick out 1/1.5 cm so the second you slip off a object on the bash its sheared and you need a new one they are nice though even if i prefer my zona

Nadine Stanniforth - Becasue she's tiny and loveable.
LMFAO
any way you've all forgotten the sex god that is sam holmes (who wouldn't do him with eye brows like his)
-
i had a go on JT's last year and it was nice the only problem is they are very short but if thats what you like... anyway whats the point in this post ???
-
just looked on trials uk site... he has so called "toxin" pads i thought it was spelt "toxsin" are these fake too ???
-
only advice i can give is:
1.only hold your front brake, keep the back brake off UNTIL the back wheel is in the air (lets your legs move)
2.stay ballancing on the bash for a bit before so you get a chance to gain connfidence
3.aim to go higher than you need to (makes it easier)
4.dont have the back wheel right up against the wall (make sure the bash is just on)
hope thats of ANY help at all but thats what helped me learn
-
Personly I would not run a hope, most the people I no who have had hopes, or have them are having problems with them.
I run an avid cable bb7 with a 185 rotor on my mod and I have to say it is truly amazing, anyone who has rode my bike will say the same!
Also a bonus, instead or paying £20 for a bleed kit or what ever it is just pop down ur local bike shop and buy a new cable for like £3.
Also they arnt really that expensive compaired to avid, magura and hope discs, so you wont have to fork out loads of money.
My vote goes for the avid bb7 they really are amazing.
Sam
i have the same and it rocks
why dont u get an avid jucy 7 ma m8 robbie has one on his team n its the best brake ever
robbies is shit at the minuite since he put the gothic rotor on it but it is a nice brake (even if you need to pull with 3 finger to make it lock)
