  1. We're meeting on Monday night - all the forms will be available on-line on Wednesday, but they will be sent by post to all of last year's members. Look forward to seeing you all again!

You won't need ACU licences. More detail later.

  2. You can subscribe on-line here and get it sent to you automatically. Otherwise, the advert does say "at all newsagents". But yes, we'll have some here.

 eason's cant say we have one must just be an ireland thing lol I hope it is decent the magazine and not just a 10 page leaflet. Like said above anymore information would be nice please

I'm told there's some good pictures, articles about Hermance, Beleay and Hans Rey; report(s) about some British Events, etc.

  3. I was talking to the Editor yesterday who said that the new Trials Magazine will be in the shops on 2nd January.

Various problems have apparently caused delays of this first issue, but at last it will be with us very soon - hope the wait's been worthwhile! (Y)

  4. Jontys gutted that he has to wait till he's 9 to ride. Poor lad :(

Not absolutely sure that they actually apply the lower age limit? I'm pretty sure Sam Luscombe rode (in the old days) when he was younger than that! :-

Get Fred to check it out - we need the little riders! :ermm:

Chris Wright - won 20" Elite (started up cleanbikes just two months after that photo!) (Y)

  6. What I'm going to be doing is setting up a site somewhere (can anyone help here?) to allow previews of the images involved, and pre-order.

Chris, you can have as much space on either www.biketrialuk.co.uk or on cleanbikes as you like for this purpose. Give me a call or drop me an email.

  7. Thanks a lot Danny and Luke, glad you enjoyed it.

It was a brilliant day and really good fun - although I'm exhausted today after two days of jumping up and down rocks!

But hey ... 90+ riders ... where did they all come from !!!!

See you in February if not before (you never know, we might just slip an extra one in!)

  8. Over 7,000 words (at least 7-8 pages) have been sent to the Uk editor along with 82 photos to choose from.

All Uk clubs and organisers were invited to contribute, and all but one did! Coverage of EBTC, HampsBTC, WEMC, Tykes, NBTC Scotland, Huddersfield Falcons, British Champs, World Champs.

Anyone organising any trials event is welcomed to send reports and photos of events to me at barbara@biketrialuk.co.uk for inclusion in the next issue. Feedback of what you want to see/read is also welcome.

This magazine will be what we all make it - and remember it is a TRIALS magazine, and not just a motortrials magazine with a bit of biketrial thrown in.

  9. do you think that popular demand will ever bring them back or are they just not creating enough profit to still be made???

    I doubt they'll be back.

There was big demand for the old 'salmon wall' tyres when they first sold out, but they never brought them back!

  10. The picture at the top of the page is the 26" Urban trials - I think this is the picture you want ...

Oh look - a Monty without a curved top tube! :P

You can now click on the link on our site for more information. (Y)

  11. Hey everyone a while ago i was looking at clean bikes at a 'zip up' Try-all jumper its red.

But i went back there yesterday and now can't find it, or a picture of it has anyone got a picture or even better a website with prices and everything.

    Thanks very much

    Rorz

Sorry, but we're not doing the Koxx gear any more - contact NSE to see if they can get one.

It's the "Unlok Zipper" that you saw.

  12. Yeah there not bad frames but i would go with more of the echo, zoo, gu etc. frames as they seem to be alot more value for money. It will no doubt last you a long long time. Have a look around before you buy as there are quite a few frames out now. (Y)

The 220 Hydra frame isn't available any more - sold out last year - but when they were available they carried a price tag of (if I remember correctly) about £90.00! :P (And in 4 years of selling them we only ever had one back under warranty!)

We're currently waiting delivery, but I expect there to be some excellent prices on the 219 frames and on the 221 Pr frames. The only really expensive ones are the Ti models - but what do you expect for the top of the range!
