thanks for replys ill be out trying again tomorrow hopefully getting new brake pads and some decent rim tar too soon. please also read my topic on brake blocks advice on that will also help balance, cheers.

tried rim tar once felt good to ride with but then it rained and sorta melted the tar dont know how but it was like oil then and despite cleaning brake blocks and rim about ten times it wouldent come off brake blocks thats what led to new brake. have you tried rim tar that dont melt in rain if so where you get it from and how much. cheers and thanks for link

Today i was riding around town, when for the first time i saw this little multi wall thing, it was like a box about half a foot high and quite wide but it had another box on top also about half a foot high, theres about a foot between start of second box and edge of first, so i pedal hopped up onto the first one then on to the second but couldnt stay on bike to jump down other side my front wheel just kept falling down before i could pedal hop again. what i need your advice with is how to keep front wheel from falling when pedal hopping up obsticals. cheers.

Hi i have bought a shimano deore lx back brake a while back now and i was wondering which brake blocks would be the best for trials like softest/stickiest, you all ride trials you know what i mean. i just want the grip so it stops rolling as much cos it scares me. cheers.

Im not sure as ive never been on a trials bike with a rear disc brake, but ive heard that they have a tendency to role and also a magura will cost you about £65 brand new, but a disc brake for trials will most likely set you back over or about a hundred. Theres also the extra weight in a disc brake compared to a magura. And maguras have the easy to use TPA adjuster on the lever, i have v's on my bike but will soon be upgrading to maguras (as soon as i get the cash) but if discs work for you keep them everyone has a different riding style. :P

best free site i know for videos of trials is www.trialmedia.co.uk its amazing and they dont take long to download you should download the london videos from there they are the best especially london 2, anyway hope ive helped <_<

i bought my bike off ebay its a da bomb one posted fast and told it like it was and i didnt need anything new for it either

did think about doing it myself but with cost and time i thought id be better off getting it done by shop dont james cycles do it
