  1. Hey

I am fortunate enough to have seen this frame in pre-production, as i live in the same city as one of the simtra riders. He was telling me that the geo is almost the same as the tibo. the huge disk is from the +20 design of the mounts.

If you have any questions about the frame i usually talk to the guy who rides it often so I can pass on anything.

  2. Hey

My friend got a new frame yesterday, a planet x tibo. We almost have it set up but his old frame used v mounts so we needed the adaptor for the hs-33. now the new frame had dedicated mounts but we wont have the clamps for a week or two. We were told we could just bolt in the v-mounts but we need the right size bolt that goes into the frame.

Does anyone know what size we need?

    Thanks

  3. Hey guys

I am looking at the new echo cranks. I was just going the get the echo BB as well, but you cant run a front freewhell with this set up. Does anyone know what type of BB I sould be looking for.

    Thanks

  4. Hey Guys

I was wondering if there is any other internal system that is different than the pawl system that almost all hubs have.

I know there is in ring drive in the kings, and the silent clutch, but is there any others out there.

Also does anyone else make a hub with a ring drive type system besides king?

    Thanks

  5. just for practing to keep your balance try this

Find a tree and put your front wheel onto the trunk at the same angle that you would be at if you were on your back wheel naturally. lock both brakes and jump on and try and stay on the tree with as little presure on your front wheel. now you can practice staying at the right position with out falling to far forward.

  6. you are looking for something like this

    Paint

It is expensive though so. Basically it has little cyrstal shapes of metal in it to change colour when light passes though them.

Just an interesting fact, before they used the synthetic product they use in the paint now to change the colour, they used to use fish skails, which change colour in different light.

  7. A great tensioner if you are running SS is a rennon. You can get them at phatmoosecycles.com.

I have one on my street bike and if you can get the chain slim enough that you can run the tenioner pushing up on the chain instead of down, it works really really well.

If you are going gears there were a few company's that would make protectors for the hanger but not much for the actual derailure. Best bet in that case is to get a short cage.

  8. I remember seeing someone on pinkbike.com taking a deore hub and adding engagment points. basically in that hub there are 2 pawls but it was build for some reason with a spot to out 3. basically he just put in another pawl and got more ingagment.

Do some searching on pinkbike.com and maybe you can still find it.

  9. Have you thought about doing this yourself?

It's not that diffuclt if you are patient with it. Its pretty staight forward. sand down the frame untill it's smooth. apply 3-4 coats of primer, 3-4 coats of paint, and 3-4 coats of clearcoat(if your donig a gloss finish). and make sure to take EVERYTHING off the frame. Wet sanding with very high grit between primer will make it even better.

Another option if it avalible is powercoating the frame. I dont recall it being very expensive and it turns out very nice.

  10. Hey All

I guess im a long time reader, first time poster.

Im getting my first real trials bike soon, a echo team mod. I have noticed that they have a build in gueest or booter right into the frame. Should I still run another with the brakes or the one on the frame be enough.

My other question is that I plan to get some echo rims. Obviosly once the sidewalls are grinded the colour will go with it, but do you think as long as they are clean i can leave them without grinding them down?

    Thanks Guys
