  1. I know exactly how you feel, I had about 8 years off before getting back on a bike mid last year, only ridden a handful of times and it is bloody hard work every time - hardest part is things that were really easy before, are now the most difficult of lines to do.

  2. Leave it in car every time, only thing in my pocket is my car key.

On a similar but separate note I did make the mistake once of leaving my wedding ring on, noticed after i'd started riding so too it off and put it pocket safely looped around ribbon on keys, that came partly loose without me noticing, took keys out of pocket when went back to car for a drink and wedding ring fell onto floor without me noticing, eventually found it about 20 foot away from car....was thinking about faking my own death and running away at that point rather than tell the wife i'd lost my wedding ring.

  3. That's odd, that always worked for me in the past, possibly try always setting it to the same drive letter every time you plug it into a new machine so it isn't trying to change it to something that clashes with your home machine.

What happens if you set the drive letter and replug the usb, will it auto play then?

Think I may have worked it out eventually. Had to go into command prompt as administrator, diskpart, automount enable - seems to have solved it for now.

  4. That is some old skool stuff right there, makes me wanna get my bike out right now. Definitely not TrialsKings, I beleive it's Kenny Wilson, Mike Judson & Timmy Atkinson amongst others

  5. What caliper have you got hooked up to that Echo lever? Is it an MT2??

Magura Louise caliper, been years since I bled brakes and took a few goes to get right, after a bit of advice from the god of tarty it is now bled to the point it's too good, instand bike with 5mm of lever move.

  6. If you think about, I bet there are people who die regularly in connection with the creation/provision/facilitation of the things we take for granted every day, let along the things we are passionate about. Perhaps a different way to ask the question (as the hoe above said) is would you give up something you are passionate about if it meant someone else would continue to live, albeit with a low quality of life, reduce your own quality of life so someone else can simply just 'exist' instead of living.

It might sound heartless and I don't mean it to as that is not the way it is intended, but IMO the planet has an overpopulation problem, not due to space but due to resources .etc. The planet can only sustain so many people, that and countries can only provide for (jobs, financials .etc.) so many people, so by having more and more people alive means the quality of life for more and more people is being reduced ever so slightly because of all of this, making the gap between the 'rich' and everyone else greater and greater.

I may be talking absolute nonsense and lots of people will surely have a different opinion, but that's exactly what it is, an opinion, which can be changed with another viewpoint.

  7. Set the drive letter to something obscure like X or Z and see if that helps. I get that a lot at work, we use 8 mapped network drives and I believe that a flash drive assigns its letter based on the last machine it was plugged into. Having manually set it to a not commonly used drive letter it should keep that whichever machine you plug it into ( assuming the drive letter isn't already existing) and will auto play as expected :)

Tried that, no change, it'll do it regardless of what I got plugged in, it's as it won't auto play when plug them in

  8. Looking to build a new rig, would love a decent i5/i7 but money won't stretch that far. Been looking at the new AMD Vishera CPU, can get a 4ghz 8 core for under £150 - anyone got any experience with them, are they any good?

Currently running a Phenom x4 with 8gb ddr2 ram on an AS Rock board with an older Radeon 4xxx card (can't recall specifically which one but it works ok), used for some gaming (handles Battlefield 4 at medium) and some photo editing in Photoshop, but it's starting to creak a bit so time to upgrade...slowly.

  9. +2, I had the same issue with my AMD card recently, I was on version 8.something and it was actually version 13.something it needed to be up to date, had exact same thing as you which cleared up once did upgrade (I was forced to upgrade as Battlefield 4 prompted it)

  10. Have you seen the inside of a phone in the last 5 years? They usually don't have many components that are connected to each other, everything is on the main circuit board.

I'd say it's pretty fecked. Prepare yourself for a new phone!

Have only seen the inside of an S2 recently whilst changing a screen, agreed there aren't many connections in there but still a few things that could be damaged when dropping it, "internal connection" was probably wrong word to use, "it's pretty fecked" was probably a better way of saying it.
