  1. Made the right choice, I had two Avid Juicy 5's in the space of a month as the pistons kept pissing out hydraulic fluid and contaminating the pads. I know its not quite the Juicy 7, but I'd never buy another Avid hydraulic brake for trials. Got a hope now and its awesome.

  2. I had a try-all bb and wasn’t too impressed by it. The bearings felt crap from day one and it only lasted a few months before they totally went. The echo bb which I’ am currently running is much smoother and I suppose stronger because of the larger bearings. However, if I were you I wouldn’t waste your money like I did and go for something cheaper like an FSA platinum DH.

  3. I can see what your saying by the bore cap being where it is but if you look at the disc rotor you can see the spokes are in front of it. The calliper isn't on the drive side its just a error with the diagram.

The frame looks really nice, but it’s not really original is it!

  4. The 06 frame is pretty much the same as the 05 frame but updated with new geometry, like you’ve already said, the +50 bb rise. I ride the 06 Pitbull and can’t fault it however it seems that a lot of people don’t get on to well with high bb rise frames. The only way you will find out this is having a go on one.

As for the stem, you’ll need something with a high rise to cater for the bb rise, for example, an Echo HiFi stem.

    Hope I've helped

  5. I think your right. If your forks have a + 30 mount, you will need a 30 mm larger rotor than that’s normally required for your disc brake. So if you decided to get the Hope mono trials with a 160 mm rotor, you will need to use a 190 mm rotor. I believe that the koxx forxx have a + 30 mount. Try checking on clean bikes or tartybikes to double check first though.

  6. Do me a favour and don't get an FSA Platinum Pro BB. I snapped one within 6 hours use. This may have been a manufacturing defect or something but I won’t be buying another FSA BB.

Get an Echo one, although a little on the expensive side.

  7. Sail cams are just chain tensioners that allow easy set-up by simply turning the tensioner along a bolt. The cam gradually pushes your rear wheel backwards until the desired chain tension has been gained. Any snail cams will do the job for chain tension, and your cranks should be fine as long as your bottom brackets axel is long enough. Mitch is using an echo bottom bracket, which has an axel length of 128 mm. You may also have to change your headset if your t-pro has an internal headset as well.

  8. He brought it as a whole bike from Tarty Bikes for £1200. The reason I know this is that I ride with him regularly. It’s the nicest mod I’ve ever ridden. Just email or ring Tarty Bikes and see what they can do for you; this is what mitch did. He should be on here later as he is normally on daily.

    Hope I've helped a bit
