Nice bike, personally not to keen on the blue with your bars, but as long as you like it that’s all that matters. How do the Controls ride?

Thanks for the comments, keep them coming.

The wheelbase of your current frame seems very short, as most frames shortest wheelbase is 1065 mm. If you wanted the closest trials specific frame possible it would most likely have to be a 1065 mm (short) wheelbase and have little or no bb rise. Perhaps something like an Echo Control, which would feel a lot better than your dawes and improve your riding too. However the chain stays will be much shorter on the Control than your dawes, but this will help improve your balance on the back wheel bring your centre of gravity more over the rear wheel.
Hope I've helped, Wolfie

Don’t hold it to me but I would guess that the bb’s cup size would be 68 mm as are most frames. Just measure the frames bb cup with a ruler; it will be either 68 mm or 73 mm. As for the axel length I would go for around 122.5 mm and 128 mm.
Hope I’ve helped

Yeah its the 06 model. Hopefully getting some ZOO! forks and a new stem soon

Very Nice, just think that the gold brake mounts and stickers are a bit over the top. How does it ride or hasn't he let you ride it yet?
-
Not riding at the moment as it has snowed, so I just thought I would post a picture of my ZOO! Pitbull with its new Avid Juicy 5 disc brake - taken with my new digital camera. The brake is amazing considering its not fully broken in yet, I’d recommend it to anyone but don’t bother with the Juicy 7 as I have one on my jump bike and the only difference is the pad adjustment, which I personally never use.

Please post your comments of my bike

That Kot is lush. I have a pitbull with the usual parts such as middleburn cranks, hope mono rear hub, try-all bars etc

Yet another great vid from cls, but suppose that’s the norm from him. Never heard of Aorta before and I am sure cls will help them sell more than a few frames. Good luck to him I say, his been with ZOO! a while now and as already said, perhaps just fancied a more dramatic change in bike other than a few modifications to his python here and there.

I would recommend that you still go ahead with the plans for a profile hub and change your decision on what rim you get the hub built on. If I were you, I’d get the profile built onto an Onza Ronnie rim, or if you wanted a bit of colour make do with a try-all rim, although not as strong.
I would choose a better hub over a better rim in your position
Hope I haven’t confused you, its only what I would do.

I agree with Zoo Pads . They aren’t so soft that your brake lever spongy and give more than enough bite. They work best with a little tar.

For Stock I would say:
1)Coustiellier Saint Blaise
2)Zoo Pitbull
3)Czar Ivan
4)KOT MS2
5)Echo Control
For Mod I would say:
1)Monty 221Ti
2)Koxx XTP
3)Zoo Python
4)Gu Typhoon
5)Echo Team

My mate has a gold hope XC front hub, and a rear profile Limited Edition Tangerine hub, and the slight colour difference looks fine, you only notice it if you pay any real attention to the hubs. Basically all I am trying to say is that your not going to notice any slight colour difference and its not worth worrying about, your going to get slightly different colours whatever.
If I was you I would go for gold echo 06 rims, black spokes, front gold hope XC or pro 2 and a rear orange profile.

22:16 on a ZOO! Pibull, not sure on the tyre pressure though.

Yeah gold wheels on back frames look the tits
-
Hope XC all the way . The new echo hubs seem a little on the dear side, especially at £62 for a front hub. The colours will look fine together .

Mine was a jump frame of an unknown manufacture with trials components on it that I brought second hand. It rode shockingly bad for trials compared to any trails specific frame.
-
A lot of the more recent rims seem stronger. My mate uses an Onza Reggie rim and that seems much stronger than his old try-all rim. If not I would go for the new echo 06 rims if you fancy a bit of colour.

Just loosen the stem bolts then tighten the bolt in the centre of the top cap until there is no more play. Then just re-tighten the stem bolts again. The headset should still run smoothly after this is done otherwise you would have tightened the top cap too much.
-
Don't see why not mate. Go for it
-
Personally I prefer the 04 levers as the construction makes it a lot strong than the 05 and it just seems more comfortable to me. One of my mates snapped his 05 lever in half and another had a nice crack in his, both who have now got the 04 magura’s.

Yeah I am going to do that, just haven't got round to doing it yet.
Thanks for the comments.

If you have the money defiantly go for a Chris King. However, if you don’t have that sort of cash I’d recommend of Hope Mono. I am currently running one and I can’t fault it, runs smoothly, engagement isn’t bad and it very rarely skips.

This ones a bit more expensive but will fit both square tapered and ISIS bottom brackets.
