What annoys me is the fact that as soon as Damon puts out a video 45 kids copy his style. Not only the moves he does, ( yes mainly taps, gaps and side hops) but the way he edits his videos and even the music selection. I can't stand all these videos coming out with the most shitty excuse for techno I have ever heard in my life. People need to start trying to be ORIGINAL.

Need to ride Norwich again, got a few bits i want to film, not sure when though. Has Adrian got his bike fixed yet?
next weekend ill be about, hopefully, but only round local areas as ill suck again so dont want to waste train money when i wont be able to ride proper lol

Was watching that video this morning how weird, cant see damon and neil going from tree stumps to rear wheel at the height vince is doing it in this video. the different techniques he is using to get up stuff makes it look effortless. Smooth and controlled style comes from natural. hard , aggresive comes from street. i can see why street riders never last as long they gettt boreeeed! pretty proven point with this topic. I like street but i love natural.
thing is i ride natty like everyday and it does get boring and you get no where near the same adrenaline rush as you do from like drop gaps to rails and stuff lol natty is fun though

if you need a video to make your riding not boring and for you to actually ride i think you need to question why you ride
well to be fair, theres only like 15 moves at max to do with trials, and only about 5 + balance that you really bother using, street or natty... so after doing these moves millions of times its going to start getting boring... so then i turn to people like tunni damon etc, just to see how nuts they are and it makes me want to push myself to go bigger! you see them doing it, theyre only human so why cant i! it just gives you the motivation to push yourself!
i dont ride trials to make my riding interesting, i mean i can jump on bmx and make 15 seconds of riding that look more interesting then a year of trials biking, i just ride trials to get better so i can have more fun on our the natty and stuff, but without sounding big headed i can get myself over just about anything in my area so i just want to go bigger now

In a thread a few days ago i'm sure I read a comment from someone about how Damon has done 60" and that his new video will be out in a week or two?
yea same haha iv been told by him hes done 60, but then he's always like 'well iv got a new sponsor so iv got to re-do all the lines/moves on my new bike before i can bring a vid out' grrrrrrrrrrrr
and hurry up then wally, better use a niiiiice tune haha and no not yet, im going to wait till my quads fully healed before i fix it to avoid temptation to ride and making my leg worse haha

if you have a rider in europe he'll basically automaticaly be delve into the comp scene, as that is the scene in europe where as over here the comps are in shitty places and just not advertised at all, iv rode for 4 years and never once been invited to a comp, seen adverts to come along to comp, had one within 100miles of me.... etc so half the talent this country has will never even come close to entering a comp and there is just no attraction to it...
imagine if the raw talent of damon/tunni had be brought up into the comp scene, with their confidence and just natural ability, we'd own.
but nope, comps round here are for people who are already doing comps, end of.
