I bought a new bike. It came fitted with tektro V brakes , Since this was my first bike i thought these wern't good enough so i Spent £120 on magura's and , apart from the cable stretching on the Vee's They were just as good , and better in the wet (partly to do with pads, or maybe ALL to do with pads). They were cheaper, and it would probably take me 3 years in replacements just for them to cost what the magura's did. And people say magura's offer near - disk brake prefomance. So , if it was me , id probably stick with V-brakes Until ive been riding for about 1 year.

I wear my gloves sometimes , i use O'neil element gloves , there good , i only use them as i have them for when i ride on my qaud. I perosnally think it feels better riding without gloves.
