Hi guys, I'm quite new in the city and looking for some nice spots for practising in and around Birmingham. I don't want to go to the city centre and get chased by security again ;] , would rather preffer some nice and quiet places outside the city centre. Maybe any trialspark or old factory's site? I'm using my car for transport so the spot can be anywhere. Just give me description, localisation and ideally some photos. Cheers, Janusz

Zoo Pitbull Which Bb (square Tape) Cartrige To Use?
plazermen replied to plazermen's topic in Trials Chat
Yep, but it's the one that I have already got (from tarty's by the way) and it's too short :/ Well I'll check the bracket with a caliper - maybe I received the shorter version through a mistake or so. -
I wonder what You guys use with that frame so it's not too short. Cheers, Janusz

I was kind of always doing technical street, and became quite goot at it. Some day my mate said: "hey - let's learn pedal kick" ok I said, so we did, then another trick and so on. I never saw any trials riders live or videos on internet, because I didn't have an internet connection. I was never specially interested in trials as it is, but guys who watched me riding street were like "hey dude you should really be doing trials", so after about a year of putting off i started doing trials.

Have a look here You have there a quite good collection of logos, you can use. Just download one, go to an advertising agency (the one which cuts vinyl with a plotter) and plot it in appropriate size, then You can stick a negative of that logo on You frame and spray it. You can edit thoose logos if You want with Corel Draw for example. I did that with several frames of mine, with my old Opel Corsa and even with my trials jeans and it looks brilliant EDIT: If You bring them a font you like - it's also no problem to plot that, so You do not have to play witha a scalpel all the day

Here You go:

I've switched from Opel Corsa A (which was very nice, but a bit too little for my bike) into Volkswagen Passat 1.9 TD Biker edition :] , which is perfect for going for longer tours with my mates. We put bikes onto top of car and all the bags into carrier. And there's still enough place for a beer box Here some pics:

Yep, I have a flyer in my hand. It's the 29th-30th July 2006. More details at www.nass2006.com. But I still don't know if I'm comming. Will have to see if I can manage somehow to get free at work. Cheers.

Somehow after alot of street riding und manuals und all that stuff, when I was bored to death with all that. I told to my mate: "Allrite. I have enough of that shit. Let's do something else now". I newer saw a trials rider before, but did hear a little about it, so we agreed to try trials and started up with pedal kick on our dual bikes (it was in winter) ;]

Hi there!! I'm new here, so I'd perhaps like to introduce myself first. My name's Janusz, 26 yrs old from Poland, just arrived at Birmingham 2 months ago and started working here. My location is Sheldon, Coventry Rd. I'd love to have a ride with You. I hope I'll be able to put some bike together untill july the first (I had to leave mine back home). I'm quite new in trials, started about year ago (used to ride alot street before) and now about to change from stock to mod, - so I'll perhaps be more wathing You rather than riding myself I hope I'll somehow manage to be there on a bike, but would not mind someone telling me more detailed about the place of our meeting. Sorry for my english - I still have to learn alot Cheers

Use michelin's synthetic rubber (nylon) innertube. Its twice safer for pinchflats than the natural rubber one and 8 x better for not loosing air.
-
The point is: when it lets you make vector images - it hits the needs, you can also use Auto Cad's or Inventor's 2D creation tool to do that and it's good too But a bitmap to vector conversion tool is not a good quality solution.
-
You both are wrong: the Corel Draw would be the best software for logos. You should be making a vector logo rather than a bitmap logo with photoshop. You can then make it bigger or change colors or plot it in a vinyl sticker foil without loosing quality. Needs a bit of practise, but it pays the rent. Cheers (sorry for my english anyway)

So do I. But while walking it's : speed/power/fantasy/prog metal a'la Dream Theater, some jazz and swing a'la Brian Setzer Orchestra

I'd be riding bike in a not invented way with no name and playing more guitar, diving, sayling.
