Cheers to everyone who rode today, was a really good ride, enjoyed myself quite alot! Glad the weather held for us aswell. Nice to see a decent sized ride with good atmosphere.

I just saw Dan, petrol station local to me. He was driving a stickered up new civic type r, i only looked closer when i spotted a little ko-bikes sticker on it. Then saw him get out, i was stunned! Propper random, considering how far away he lives etc.
Just thought id share that completely useless fact

Im well gutted i couldnt come today! Bikes still not working, and i was at work.
Was it a good ride? What was the turn out like?Deffinately want to start getting out more often in the new year and as the weather starts getting a touch better. (i say that as i look out the window at thick snow

Ring around. I had quotes of like 8 grand on mine, ended up being under 2. (First car, own policy that was). Just whatever you do, make sure you find out how much it will be when you pass aswel, i had some provisional quotes of like 1500, then they said oh and full license is like 5 grand.
The main thing is ring around, maybe find a forum or such of that particular car, and see who everyones going with, and give them a ring, see what they say. I spent about a day pretty much non stop ringing around for my insurance, and it payed off eventually.

Ed has very kindly offered me a lift, but if Wayne is picking josh up, then it makes sence/saves people time, for me to jump in with him. Anyone fancy chatting to wayne for me?
Also, anyone got a spare bike they want to lend me for the weekend/day? Dont really care what it is, as long as its trials

Anyone from Brum way got any spare space, as i dont really know anyone going Grants, and its a mission to get there. Someone from Brum would just be alot easier + cheaper.

Metro + 1.8l k-series. Ridiculously cheep, Very easy swap for the solid cam engines. Light, free to lower and stiffen the suspension, surprising handling with a few tweaks. And really surprisingly rapid with a 1.8 in them.
