  2. Yes it will come in handy cheers matey, i defenatly need to re-grind my rim aswell, which would probably help but cheer once again for the help buddy!
  3. As i have never had an amazing brake set up and now i am going to get back to riding i was wondering if anyone had a good set up in mind, at the moment im running plasma pads with a light grind, i sometimes use tar when i can get hold of it which always makes a good difference, it just seems everytime i get a good set up it stays for about two days at the most, so if anyone know's a good setup please share Cheers Scott
  4. Wow it's not raining on the isle of man for once, as the weather is normally atrocious over here we dont get much chance to ride but now the weather is getting better its not becoming a problem anymore, which means i can back into the great sport, dont know what its like eveyone else's end but loving it here
  5. Well all suggestions have been taken into consideration cheers, i would love to be riding now but weather isn't too good over here. I think it's just a case of thinking about thigs more and like people have said, dont look at something and automatically think i cant do that, ive said the same thing about a wall once and i actually got round to doing it so almost everything is possible if not everything Cheers scott
  6. I think the mental attitude will have a lot to do with it, ill take a more positive approach to things from now on Cheers Scott
  7. I have been riding for a long time now and have got to the pointwhere i am hopping on, up and over the same things for quiet some time, unfortuanatly the other lines available are just a bit too big and involve a bit more skill than i have, so i am just wondering if anyone has any advice on what i should do. Cheers Scott
  8. you still alive lol

  9. The riding skills are a problem sometimes but that's why we get better or try, so we can then look at the out of the ordinary lines, i think alot of it has to do with people not been bothered more than not having places to ride. I find new lines everytime i go out its getting the balls to do them is a problem, the island is full off spots but i do agree with car suggestion it would help.
  10. It certainly seems like it's worth trying, ill have to ask around and see who's riding now as some of the members from the island are not riding anymore But cheers for the feedback!
  11. Being stuck in the isle of man and not geting much of a chance to go away and have a go at a competition, (due to work and school) i was wondering if anyone had ever fancied the idea of a comp in the isle of man, as it is said to be one of the greatest places on earth for all kinds of bike riding, and there is some really cool places, i think if someone who knew what they were doing could come and put one on it would be great, shame is pedal trials hasn't got a massive scene over here so we would be relieng on people coming over aswell! Im sure if organised, it would be a great event!!! Tell me what you think please. Cheers Scott.
  12. That's the kind of thing i was thinking about, living in a place where all the riding spots are so far away from each other it can get a bit tiresome, but i supose that's what the car is for, cheers for feedback guy's Scott
  13. When we used to ride we would grind and use tar so most of the time we had pretty decent brakes. I always used to ask the question as to where to get tar from and all i got was try ebay, as far as i know a good thing to try is bitchamin (roofer's tar) from B & Q or if you see someone tar'ing a roof you could always just ask them for any spare tar. But a good thing to do first woul be to get a grind as they are one of the best forms of increasing the brake performance and then worry about looking or finding tar. Hope this helps you Scott
  14. It's no doubt probably already been thought about and talked about before, but just wanting to know what anyone thinks of the idea. The idea being gears on a mod, it sounds pretty cool but im sure there will be some setbacks to it.
  15. Dont understand the topic... What are you trying to say otherwise its not going to help anyone Not trying to say anthing, and if you read what i said it basically asks if there is anything i need to know i.e new products.
  16. As most of my mates that i used to ride with would know, ive been off the scene for a while but i have decided to blow the cob webs off and get stuck straight back into it, (as someone who used to love trials and still does) it's only fair that i catch up on anything ive missed realy so if anyone knows anything they think i should know then im all ears. Cheers Scott .
  17. I want to upload an image off me riding, so some advice on how to would be great cheers.
