  1. Photoshop a picture of her and put it on a big canvas! that would be a sweet present!

A picture of the two of you would possibly be better, I dont no many people that like looking at big pictures of themselves :P

I'm getting my gf a teddybear from the teddybear factory.

She has probably been dropping loads of hints, girls just need to realise, guys dont notice hints.

  2. are you planning on getting a sub anytime soon? if so id avoid getting the amp/6x9 combo becuase subs and 6x9's when they are on the parcel shelf really contradict each other in terms of air pressure and distortion of the cones making the mids and trebles commin from 6x9's sound really bad. that amp wont be good enough to power a sub either its spec is

    97 W x 2 (4 ohms)

    145 W x 2 (2 ohms)

    which aint amazing.

if i were you, and this is just a suggestion. id go for some half decent componant speaker upgrades for your front doors, and get rid of your standard rear speakers and the 6x9's, something like.. these (just an example) and they will sound much better becuase the mids and trebs will be directed to the front of the car and bass will remain in boot. plus you dont necessarily need to seperately amp up these speakers, but u have the option to. they will still sound good without.

    hope this helps buddy.

This man has the right idea, in my 106, i have got a 10" sony sub, with a shark 1000 watt amp (£80 for the two, and i made the box myself to the size sony recomend) I have 120W blaupunkt speakers in the rear (about 30W RMS) and 80W JVC speakers in the front (about 25 RMS), running from a pannasonic head unit.

I did this setup on a budget, and no, its not the loudest "bad ass" system in the land, but i, along with many of my mates think my set up sounds nicer than my mates £200 subs which were already in a twin sub box when bought, with a 2000W amp, and 6x9's on the parcel shelf, and standard ford door speakers, both of which are running off the head unit. If you want to listen to music, you dont need loads of power or money, but look for things that will work well together, rather than big power ratings.

I dont no if this will have helped. but thats just my 2p

    Alex.

  3. Wow, Thats a massive shock. I didnt expect to be reading that tonight.

Like Rich, i dont come on here much anymore, and I have only seen it because he linked me to it.

I have had a couple of lucky escapes whilst out driving. And then when i finally hit another car, and did some damage, it really put things into perspective, i was only going really very slow. and the amount of damage just makes you think, about what would have happened had i been going faster.

Small cars and high speeds, on normal roads are just not a good mix!

Our thoughts are with you Sam!

    Alex.

  4. wooo its me doing a gap...wooo...quality is lame! is that down to the camera alex?

I think the quality is that poor because i just used the automatic capture settings, and i have a 10 year old 14" monitor, so it doesnt have very good resolution... so it set it all up for that...

I no for next time though. (Y)

    Cheers for the comments...

    P.s, we'r all white :P

  5. I have finally got around to capturing some footage from my camera, and seeing what i can do using movie maker :)

Vid is 1min6, and pretty poor quality.

Riders: Alex Black (me) - Leeson clear 660 (green) and saracen MAD

    Ross Comley - Revel

Rich Ainslie - Leeson clear 660 (yellow)

I jus made it out of bordom really, but i think it turned out okish.

I plan on making some more vids in the future, so constructive critisism is welcome :)

sorry about the bad server, but its a small file, so shouldnt take too long to download (Y)

  6. your new rotor should help, but your ebc reds will probably be contaminated from using them on the old rotor. best bet would be to get new pads with the new rotor, and bleed it, so that its all nice and fresh at the same time (Y)

  7. i saw a woman in work the other day, the top of her head (around the crown) was green, then around that was pink, then there was another ring of green, then another ring of pink.... looked like she was wearing a beanie!! (Y)

  8. I hope you used lots of water, as washing up liquid has a lot of salt in it. It is a corrosive agent if you have a steel frame...

    since when were t-pro's steel?

Put some lube on the chain, and turn the cranks, this should work it into all the moving parts... thats all i would do (Y)

  9. I'm guessing it's more likely to do with the density of the dough, and how it rises and creates a lesser density nearer the edges, therefore meaning less to cook?

Is the crust not denser than the middle bit of the bread? :ermm:
