  2. i allways used to grind down the prongs on the magura pistons, to allmost half the length, they still work fine and dont get the grinding noise, be carefull not to take too much off though because sometimes the backings come off you pads, and it hurts, ! lol

  3. yer i have used eno freewheels for years, they are a bit pricey though around £90 so far as i can remember, the tensile is best bet for the money, engagements are good, plenty of them too. and allthough its not sealed bearing, the bearings are caged and can be replaced, so it is fully serviceable. o and if i remember rightly the lock ring is threded the opposte way so that it wont come loose whilst rolling along like an acs does.

  4. the raliegh trade show is at the end of this month, am gonna go with work so will ask the db guys whilst im there, if they are out with all the other 09 bikes then i would bet around end of feb before you start to see em in shops, will let you know when i actually have spoke to em though,

  5. i looked at doing that, but would have had a rear 180mm rotor on a 19" wheel, lol just not practical, besides, i thought it looked pimp when i fitted it, was gonna replace it with a moto v2, wich is the same as a mono trial, when its in stock, but might stick with the ti6, just cuz i think it looks ard! lol, so what if its a bit heavyer, and i dont see how it can be less powerfull,

  6. that it may be, but it wont fit! i can have either a moto v2 or a mono6, and the mono 6 was the only one i could find in stock anywhere without having to order it.

o and sorry i didnt realise there was a bike pics bit, lol, stupid i know,

maybe someone who is clever at computers can move it there for me??

  9. good point about the man made sections, dave has had one man made section at most of the ymsa trials for the last 2 years , getting in skip's pallets spools etc, even making 2 or 3 trips to braken rocks on the saturday, wich about an 80 mile round trip, to get stuff there, the sections are allways built, and layed out to the highest standard, no falling markers, lots of tape, etc, etc.

as for it being a little elietest i disagree, i make a right tit of myself falling through the black route sections just like i do at many comps that are this dificult,

allso i think the black route is a good idea, because it seperates the really top, pro riders,(and old people like me that have to ride it lol) so that the elite route can be made dificult for most, but not dangerous, and allso the other routes are set out realistically i think.

is it the uci part that puts people off? cant say its because its too dificult in uci format, because its the same for everyone in the comp, so the fact that you cant put your pedal down doesent matter, its the same for everyone else.

or maybe people are put off because they dont have a clear understanding of the rules,

i dont know these are just some of the things that i think maybe a factor, but like dave say's ant sujestions are welcom, i for one would like to see these trials run next year, if not for anything else, the ymsa area has some amazing venues, and it seems a shame to see them go to waste!!

    rob,

  10. yer i admit a bit more room would come in handy some times,

i still cant believe the vito's rims got robbed, and cant believ its going allready, i loved that van, if i had the money id buy it back, o and if you hadent compleatly trashed too of corse! lol
