Did your brakes suddenly stop working as good as they used too? As you should only need a bleed if there is air in the system and that dosn't usually happen overnight (unless you caught the pipe of course)! If not you might have nocked it or something, make sure everythings lined up and the pads are as close to the rim as possible without rubbing, actually a small amount of brake block lightly touching isnt too bad. And if that fails a grind is better than tar in my experience.

Lazy pistons wouldnt give the above effect, good bit of tar and standard pads, or a grind and good trials specific pads e.g koxx bloxx, rock pads etc would give you back your brtake performance

It could also be the cylinders moving in their moints, check theyre correctly tightened, and that the tthreads havent gone

a brake booster , if youre not running one, would help stop braking power being wasted on frame flex....
