Billiboi
Hi all. I recently started trials, i bought an onza T bird 08 and then got a new frame and just transfered the bits over, and got magura rear brakes. Since then i have managed to strip the rear magura threads once, and have had them rethreaded but i think i may have stripped another one that has been rethreaded already. Somebody said its because i pull the brakes to hard and the mount move alot as im not running a booster.So.... should i get an onza blade frame and go DD or use my old T bird frame with Evo mounts with built in booster (as i had no problems with these) .I have only been riding a month or so and im not amazing atm so im going down the line of using my old frame atm.Ideas comments etc pleaseThanks all
James 24/7 trials
hey man, i think that you should just get a booster for the bike you got and maybe think about going duel disc in the long term as this costs alot and your only learning. If not just stick with your T-bird while you are learning and then get new parts as you progress.Although the blade it the forth lightest frame on tarty and has both disc and maggura mounts, so that could be a good idea if you have to money to do so. You'd need a new rear disc hub or disc wheel though if you wanted to go disc.James
