Captain Scarlet Posted April 17, 2010 Report Share Posted April 17, 2010 Well I was running dual hope mono trials, but due the gash design of the Echo rear disc hub, my rear rotor was a hair width away from the frame and even to get it into this position I had to run the rear wheel at a stupid angle. My brakes gradually deteriorated in strength/power, until I then bent my disc so enough was enough. Was going to go rear Vee and keep the front disc but the vee mounts didn't clear the rear tyre, so spontaneously decided upon front vee, and went for a rear magura. Also shaved a bit of weight by changing from the kenda DH tube to a normal rear tube, going to go for a new wheelset sometime this year to save some more but its not a priority.
