Why Does My New Self Made Crossover Leak?

Recommended Posts

okay guys, i made my self a new crossover pipe the other week, and i only got round to fitting it last night.

i followed the instructions on the magura website, used a vice, the correct clamps, and a hammer...

but i squeeked my brake a min ago and there is water trickling out of the tube where it fits onto the barb

why is it leaking?

anyone else made a crossover before?

happend to me, i find it better to use brand spanking new hose and fittings, just seems better to me. make sure the barb fitting goes exactly square in, if not it will leak. you can use a light lube on the hose+fitting such as 3 in 1. dont know why yours is leaking, if you have followed the magura vid you must be ok?
