Laurence--Trials
Following this: We've recently got a small trials park in our village, we've had it no longer than a month and its the only place in our village to ride. However our village hall comity who are "all up for helping young people or whatever" have decided that its unsafe so has been taken away. Helping young people my f**king arse!!!! What a load of shit! We've arranged a meeting with the village hall comity so we could get something sorted, does anyone know what type of insurence etc barrow farm in essex has? Also interested to how barrow farm came about, where he gets all the equiptment from, any terms and conditions etc etc. ANY information would be appreciated. Also, if people could either post pictures of barrow farm or link me to threads which contain pictures that would be fantastic, thanks guys!! alex-trials-boy
Laurence they dont need insurance!!, they're stupid, they should make us sign a disclamer saying that we're riding there at our own risk so if anythin does happen to us we cant claim. JackMeek
If you go to www.radicalbikes.co.uk and send them a direct email and discuss this with them they will advise you as best as they can. It has taken a lot blood sweat and tears to get where barrow farm has got. different projects regarding setting this idea have different factors to take into consideration. Mission statement, Funding, community, longevity, usage ect. I highly recommend a chat with with radicalbikes. Maybe they can help.
TrialsIsHard
Barrow farm is private land, and I'm guessing this trials park isn't. You can do what the hell you want on private land providing you sign/are aware of a disclaimer. I can imagine on public property it's going to be very different, but I don't see where it differs from a skate park. Might be worth looking into what kind of insurances are needed for them?
