Howdy all. just a few quick questions about the programme mentioned above.

I aint use it for a few years, and i need to quickly find out how to achieve a few things.

Firstly. How do you make an object transparent?

And secondly how do you make a sharp object, such as a cube have rounded edges?

If nobody has a clue, then no worries i'll delete this topic asap, but any info would be lush! (Y)

to make an object transparent, just disable it. to make it semi transparant apply a material that is semi transparent.

to round the edges you need to apply a deform modifyer such as mesh smoother with 1 iteration, but you're original mesh needs to have been sub-divided meaning instead of a square being 6 faces, each of those faces is split up into say, 4 faces.

Here it is, its only something small that im doing for a project managment...er project.

We had to design a range of packaging for one of my lecturers products.

This is a package for the kettle my lecturer designed. And the actual kettle.

NOTE: the shape in that picture is out of proportion. i have changed it since.
