No need to be a cock about it.

If there are other riders where you are (which there must be, and I'm sure some of them can sidehop) then just get out with one of them and watch their technique. You've just got to keep practising.

How long have you been riding? What are you trying to side hop up or onto?

start on a curb or something small! make sure your parallel to the object Just bring your front wheel up over the curb (or what ever), then pull your back wheel up to follow it easy! its basically a bunny hop but sideways.

When you manage to do the small stuff just start move up to bigger things.

Its a bit hard to explain on here, just find someone that is local to you and learn off them.

failing that download a video of someone doing a sidehop and study it :blink:

hey i dont know if this will help but.... i find if i look once or twice at where im going to (just before i hop) and think about how much power i need to apply to the pedals then i seem to naturally go to that point ! the point im making is realy just think about what you have to do and you should find it easier

hope thats any help (but probably isnt)
