Train Fares

Sorry if this is a repost i couldn't find anything on the search engine, but just to let those who don't know already you can work out how much your train fare is going to cost here. All you have to do is enter where your going from, and obviously where your going to and select a rough time of arrival/departure, then select plan journey. Make sure you choose the correct date as well as train fares differ on weekends ect. Then click the PLAN JOURNEY button at the bottom of the page and it will give you a load of train times ect,(if it has not worked properly got back and check over details to make sure they are correct, if still not working leave it for a couple of hours and try again). Then go to the bottom of the page where it says train fares & availability then enter all the details needed, e.g. child ticket and return ticket. Then once done click on GET FARE OPTIONS. Give it a minute to process and then it should come up with a time table of train times and the underneath that your fare options, thats how much the train is going to be/meant to be as sometimes it's something like 5-10p extra so don't take the exact change take a little more, which i suspect most people do anyway.

Hope this comes in handy

Rob
