I've heard tons of good reviews on the Hope Mini (I don't think they're in production anymore but I can still get ahold of one). I've heard the mono mini isn't as good as it sounds. I've heard many mixed reviews on the Monotrial, some love it some hate it.BTW, its for a mod bike. Money really isn't a big deal, but it would be nice to save some by getting the mini or monomini. -BenEDIT: I am NOT looking for an AVID or any other MECHANICAL disc brake, please, I've tried them and hated them! CurtisRider Posted September 7, 2006 Report Share Posted September 7, 2006 ive had all 3, 2 minis, 2 mono minis and 1 monotrial, the older mini pisses over the other 2. the monotrial can be awesome, but its so inconsistant, its hard to trust it/know what its gonna do, its not a terrible brake, but its not up to the standard i was hoping it would bei would recomend a juicy 7, the awesomeness of a bb7, mixed with with clean and nice looking lines of hydro brakes-sorrrrted Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tom_ Posted September 8, 2006 Report Share Posted September 8, 2006 I own a mini on the back of my jump bike, and the bite doesnt feel to good Im not sure if this is because its due for a bleed though. saying that I have never tried either of the other hope so I dont no if they are all like that, but I have tryed a magura loise fr and that had amazing bite.
